## Description

Quilted sponge side panels add padding where sliding shorts need it most, helping protect the thighs and glutes from abrasion during play. The fitted 82% nylon, 18% spandex fabric has four-way stretch and moisture-wicking properties for movement and sweat management. Need padding that moves with you through a game? These shorts combine it with a built-in cup pocket for baseball and football.

## Tech summary
- Fabric: 82% nylon, 18% spandex with four-way stretch and moisture-wicking properties
- Fit: Fitted compression style with an elastic waistband
- Padding: Quilted sponge side panels designed to protect the thighs and glutes during slides
- Pockets: Two pockets, including a cup pocket
- Care: Machine washable

The padded panels make these more specialized than plain compression shorts: they add coverage for sliding and contact play while keeping the garment lightweight. The stretch fabric supports common game movements such as running, crouching, and sliding, and the elastic waistband gives a snug fit.

## How to use it
Wear the shorts for baseball or football when you want a fitted layer with padded side panels. The cup pocket provides a place to insert a protective cup for added protection, the cup is sold separately. The shorts are also listed for softball, lacrosse, MMA, and boxing, making them useful across several sports where a compression fit and padded coverage are wanted. Follow the machine-wash care instructions after use.

For sizing, compare your waist measurement with the listed chart: Small, 30–32 inches, Medium, 32–34 inches, Large, 34–36 inches, X-Large, 36–39 inches, and XX-Large, 39–43 inches. Buyer feedback is positive about comfort and padding, while fit opinions vary, so the waist ranges are a practical starting point when choosing a size.
