## Description

If you want to shield a glass or ceramic electric stovetop from dust, grease, and scratches when it is not in use, this YIKTI cover pairs a protective surface with a colorful retro floral print.

Its 28 x 20-inch format is also intended for counters, tables, and washer-dryer tops, so it can serve beyond the stove area.

Could one mat cover both an unused cooktop and a separate countertop task? Its flexible, foldable design makes that kind of everyday versatility part of the appeal.

## What stands out

The retro oil-painting-style flower design adds color while the mat helps keep dust, dirt, grease, and scratches off a glass or ceramic stovetop. It is made of natural rubber and is described as heat resistant up to 400°F (200°C). That rating is relevant when using it as a mat to protect a countertop from hot cookware, it is not permission to place the cover on active cookware or use it over an operating cooking surface. The product notes specifically warn against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F.

Its size also allows for uses on a kitchen counter or table, or on top of a washer or dryer. For example, it could sit on a counter as a dish-drying mat to catch drips from glasses, bowls, fruits, or vegetables. Other suggested uses include a coffee bar, pet-feeding area, tool surface, or plant-pot mat. It suits you if you want a flexible cover that can move between kitchen and utility-area tasks. It’s not for you if you need a mat to remain on a cooktop while it is operating.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Use the cover only when the cooking surface is inactive, and keep it away from active cookware, as directed in the product details. Its stated heat resistance is useful context for countertop-mat tasks, but does not make it suitable for covering a working cooktop. For drying dishes or catching produce drips, the broad rectangular surface offers an alternative to a smaller, single-purpose drying mat, for a dedicated stove protector with a different fit, compare the listed 28 x 20-inch size with your available surface before choosing.

For cleanup, wipe spills or water droplets from the mat, or rinse it under water for a deeper wash. When it is not in use, roll or fold it for storage, or hang it using the included hooks. The product is described as washable, but no washing-machine instructions are provided, so the stated wipe-and-rinse methods are the supported care options.

## Should you buy it?

This cover is worth considering if you want a decorative layer for an unused glass or ceramic electric stovetop and would also use a flexible mat elsewhere in the home. Its floral print, broad listed size, and foldable construction make it more versatile than a cover intended only to stay in one place. The main buying check is fit: compare the 28 x 20-inch dimensions with the surface you plan to protect. Choose a different approach if your need is to cover an active cooktop or to use a mat beyond the stated heat rating.
