## Description

If your dog needs a way to move between indoors and outdoors, this sliding glass pet door adds a dedicated flap to an existing door track. Choose this track-mounted insert for pet access without permanent alterations to the sliding door.

## Technical overview
- Type: Sliding glass pet door insert
- Model: BSYTYM-917

- Frame material: Aluminum
- Maximum pet weight: 75 pounds
- Adjustable height: 75 4/5 to 80 3/10 inches
- Access: Magnetic flap
- Locking system: Included

The insert is made for an existing sliding glass door track, so it provides a pet passage while keeping the installation focused on the track rather than permanent changes to the door. Its adjustable height helps it fit a range of openings, while the aluminum frame offers a durable structure for everyday use. The magnetic flap gives your dog a designated way through, and the locking system lets you restrict access when needed, such as at night or when you are away.

## How to use it
Install the insert in your existing sliding glass door track and adjust its height to suit the opening, within the stated range. Once in place, the flap provides a passage for dogs weighing up to 75 pounds. This setup is useful when your pet needs regular access and you want to retain your sliding-door arrangement, rather than make a permanent opening in a wall or door. Use the locking mechanism whenever you want to limit access through the pet door.

## Practical tips
Measure the track opening and compare it with the adjustable height range before installation. This helps you determine whether the insert can be positioned for your sliding door. Consider your dog’s weight as well as its ability to use a flap when choosing a pet door. The white aluminum frame suits a straightforward sliding-door setup, while the magnetic flap and lock offer practical ways to manage access throughout the day.

## Before you decide
What kind of door is this insert designed for? It is designed to install into an existing sliding glass door track, providing a pet passage without permanent alterations.

What is the adjustable height range? The insert adjusts from 75 4/5 to 80 3/10 inches to accommodate different track openings.

What is the maximum pet weight? The stated maximum is 75 pounds, making the flap an option for dogs within that weight limit.

## Is it worth it?
For households that want their dog to move through a sliding glass door without a permanent door modification, this insert brings together adjustable track fit, a magnetic flap, and a locking system. The aluminum frame and 75-pound weight limit make it a practical choice for creating a dedicated pet entrance within the stated height range.
