Everyday use

A short cable can help keep a charging area tidy when the device and power source are close together. Use it to charge a compatible phone at a desk or connect a tablet to a nearby USB-C charger. The two-cable pack also makes it easier to keep one cable at home and another in a bag or vehicle.

For file transfers between USB-C devices, the cable supports speeds up to 480 Mbps. Its USB-C plugs are the same on both ends, so it is intended for USB-C ports rather than a USB-A connection. Buyers often highlight its charging functionality and compatibility with newer phones and tablets, feedback on durability and connector fit is mixed.

What you get

The set includes two white, 1-ft USB-C to USB-C cables. Their compact length suits setups where a short connection is useful, such as beside a laptop or with a nearby charging adapter. A compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger is needed to use the cable for charging, the cable itself connects devices and charging equipment with USB-C ports.

Before you decide

What kind of connector does this cable use? It has a USB-C plug on each end. It is not a USB-C-to-USB-A cable, so use it with USB-C ports.

Can it fast-charge a compatible device? It supports up to 60W Power Delivery. Fast charging depends on using a compatible device and USB-C PD charger.

Can it transfer files or send video to a display? It supports data transfer up to 480 Mbps, but it does not support video output.

Buying verdict

Choose the YBMTIGICS C3 when you want two compact cables for charging USB-C devices close to a power source, with data transfer available for everyday file moves. Compared with a longer cable, its 1-ft format is better suited to a nearby connection where a shorter cord helps keep the setup contained.
