Benefits
This support board adds firmness without raising the mattress profile much, which helps extend the usable life of pull-out beds and older sofa beds. The cover features silicone particle bumps to reduce slipping, and the board’s groove design gives enough rigidity to support multiple adults according to the manufacturer. The folding design simplifies placement and storage, and the lightweight build makes it easy to handle.
Usage tips
It’s a good choice when you need straightforward reinforcement under a mattress or mattress topper. Place the board between the mattress and the spring base, or on top of the sofa bed surface before closing the cover. It’s washable because the zipped cover can be removed. Keep in mind that while it improves firmness and reduces noise, it does not replace a thicker mattress if you need more cushioning.
Care & maintenance
The outer cover unzips so you can remove the groove board and machine wash the housing as needed. Let the cover air dry or use a low heat setting if the fabric care label allows. Store the board folded in a dry place when not in use.
