Yamink iPhone 17 Pro Max Case

The built-in rotating ring is the standout feature: flip it open to prop up your phone for hands-free viewing, then fold it back into the case. The Yamink is also listed as a hybrid two-layer cover with a tempered-glass screen protector, so it aims to combine everyday scratch protection with a built-in stand. Its low-profile ring is meant to sit flush when closed, but the listing has a compatibility detail worth checking before you rely on the screen protection.

Size & fit

This case is listed for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, 6.9-inch model, and comes in pink. The product description says the outer shell is hard PC and the inner layer is flexible silicone, with cutouts intended to give access to the phone’s buttons and ports. It also describes a tempered-glass screen protector as part of the 2-in-1 setup.

There is an inconsistency in the listing: while the product name and compatibility statement specify iPhone 17 Pro Max, the screen-protection detail refers to an iPhone 16. That matters because a screen protector needs to match the phone precisely. The case dimensions are not provided, so anyone choosing based on exact bulk or pocket fit would be doing so without that measurement.

Pros

The rotating ring gives you a practical alternative to carrying a separate stand. For example, you can open it and prop the phone on a desk while watching a clip, then fold it flat before putting the phone away. The listing says the ring rotates 360 degrees and is designed not to protrude when closed, which may suit someone who wants a stand without a permanently raised loop.

A built-in iron piece in the ring is described as working with a magnetic car mount. That makes the case more appealing if you already use that kind of mount, though the listing does not give details about mount strength or fit. The raised edges are specified as 1.2 mm around the camera and 0.5 mm around the screen, offering a small buffer when the phone is set down. The PC-and-silicone construction is also presented as protection against fingerprints, scratches, and dust.

You’ll appreciate it if a fold-away stand and a case-plus-protector format matter more to you than choosing those accessories separately. What if your priority is simply the slimmest possible cover? The added ring and layered construction may be less appealing than a plain, one-piece case. Better avoided if you need confirmed screen-protector compatibility for the iPhone 17 Pro Max before buying.

Should you buy it?

This case makes the most sense if you want a built-in viewing stand, raised camera and screen edges, and the convenience of a listed screen protector in one purchase. Its ring also gives it a use beyond basic scratch coverage, especially for desk viewing or a magnetic car-mount setup. The main drawback is not a proven protection weakness, it is the unclear screen-protector compatibility in the product details. If that is central to your decision, look for confirmation that the glass is specifically for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. If you are comfortable with that uncertainty and value the folding ring, the case’s feature set may suit your daily use, if you want a simple cover or unambiguous protector fit, a more straightforward option is a safer pick.
