## Description

## Best use cases

The 25-foot length gives you more flexibility when positioning a solar panel in relation to a power station. This XRDS -RF extension cable combines an XT60i connector with solar-compatible connectors, so it can extend a portable solar setup for camping, outdoor events, or off-grid use.

Its bonded red and black wires help keep the cable organized along the route. The 10AWG tinned copper conductors and PVC jacket suit outdoor solar applications, while the extended reach can help you place the panel where it works best for your setup.

## Why it makes sense

A short cable can keep a panel close to a power station, this 25-foot extension offers another approach when the two need to be positioned farther apart. That extra reach can make it easier to arrange a portable solar setup around a campsite or outdoor work area, rather than placing the station right beside the panel. The bonded conductors also keep the red and black leads together, making the cable easier to route and manage.

Tinned copper wire is used for conductivity and corrosion resistance, and the XT60i connector is intended for connection with a power station. For a practical setup, route the cable between the solar panel’s compatible connection and the station, keeping the cable organized and protected from water exposure. Confirm that the connection types match the equipment in your system before use.

Customer feedback is positive about the cable’s quality and whether it matches expectations. Connectivity feedback is mixed, with some buyers mentioning concerns about the center pin connection. The product’s stated connector type is XT60i, check the connector fit as part of setting up your own equipment.

## Practical questions

**How long is the cable?** It measures 25 feet, providing extra reach when positioning a solar panel and power station apart from each other.

**What connections is it designed for?** The cable has an XT60i connector for a power station and solar-compatible connectors for a panel connection. Match the connector types to the equipment in your setup.

**Can it be left exposed to rain?** The cable is listed for outdoor use, but it is not water resistant. Keep it protected from water during use.

## Buying verdict

For portable solar setups that need more distance between the panel and power station, this XRDS -RF cable brings together a 25-foot reach, 10AWG tinned copper wire, and an XT60i connection. Its bonded red and black leads add a practical touch for routing, making it a useful extension for camping, outdoor events, and off-grid arrangements where flexible panel placement matters.
