## Description

## Technical details

The one-piece silicone head is the standout feature: with no seam where the utensil head meets the handle, there are fewer places for food to lodge, and cleanup is straightforward. The XiaoZu is listed as 12.6 inches long, teal, BPA-free, and dishwasher-safe. Its silicone is rated for heat up to 600°F, and a stainless steel core adds strength while allowing the tip to flex.

It combines a spoon’s scooping shape with a spatula’s scraping and stirring jobs, so you can move between tasks without reaching for a second utensil.

## Compatibility

The spoonula is described as safe for nonstick cookware and other cookware surfaces. That makes it a practical match for stirring sauce in a coated pan, scraping the sides of a mixing bowl, or serving from a pot. The product description calls it scratch-resistant, but careful use is still sensible if protecting a delicate coating is a priority.

It makes sense if you want one utensil for cooking, mixing, scooping, and serving, rather than keeping separate tools for each task. The trade-off is that a combination spoonula may not give you the specialized shape of a dedicated serving spoon or a broad, flat spatula when a recipe calls for one.

## Usage tips

For a simple kitchen routine, use the spoon end to stir a pan of sauce, sweep the flexible tip along the bottom and sides, then scoop a portion onto a plate. The stainless steel core is intended to support demanding use, while the silicone edge is suited to scraping and stirring. Keep the stated 600°F heat rating in mind when working near high heat, the description does not provide details about how long the utensil can remain in a hot pan.

After cooking, it can go in the dishwasher. Its seamless construction is also meant to make hand cleaning easier by avoiding a joint where residue can collect. Not the best choice if you specifically need a rigid, flat-edged turner or a dedicated baking spatula for a task that depends on a particular head shape.

## Before you decide

**Is it suitable for nonstick pans?** The product is described as safe for nonstick cookware and other cookware surfaces. If your cookware has special care instructions, follow those as well.

**Can it go in the dishwasher?** Yes. It is listed as dishwasher-safe, and the one-piece design is intended to simplify cleaning.

**What heat can it handle?** The silicone is rated up to 600°F. The available details do not specify a separate time limit for exposure to heat.

## Buying verdict

The XiaoZu is a sensible pick for everyday cooking when a flexible, scoop-and-scrape utensil would reduce the need to switch tools. Its heat rating, stainless steel core, BPA-free silicone, and dishwasher-safe construction cover useful basics, and the 12.6-inch length gives you a clear size to compare with your existing utensils. On the spec sheet, the main limitation is the lack of detail about prolonged heat exposure and the exact head shape. Choose it for general stirring, mixing, scraping, and serving, choose a dedicated utensil instead when a specific edge or serving shape matters more than having several functions in one.
