Wooden Whiskey Glass Set, Charred Oak

The charred oak interior is the detail that sets this whiskey set apart: it’s designed to release subtle wood aromas as you sip. That gives a bourbon pour a different feel from drinking out of a standard glass tumbler.

The set includes two individually carved wooden glasses, plus stones and serving accessories. It’s packaged as a gift, so there’s less need to assemble a separate presentation.

From the way it is set up, this is as much a tasting gift as a pair of everyday tumblers. The tradeoff is care: the glasses need hand washing, and hot drinks are out.

Technical details

Each glass is made from natural solid wood with a charred interior inspired by bourbon barrels. The grain pattern varies from piece to piece, so the two glasses won’t necessarily look identical. The product description presents the interior as a source of subtle wood aromas, that’s part of its appeal for someone who enjoys noticing character in a bourbon or cocktail, rather than simply wanting a familiar glass shape.

The gift set contains two wooden whiskey glasses, six stainless steel whiskey stones, tongs, two felt coasters, and a storage pouch, all in a gift box. The stones are intended for chilled drinks, while the glasses are also described for room-temperature beverages. They’re not suitable for hot drinks, and the wood finish should be preserved with hand washing. No glass capacity or dimensions are provided, so anyone choosing a glass around a particular pour size will need to account for that missing detail.

Getting the most from it

This set is aimed at bourbon, whiskey, and chilled drinks such as an Old Fashioned. It could suit a home bar, a birthday or retirement present, or a relaxed drink outdoors by a campfire. For example, the stones and tongs give you a way to chill a pour without reaching for ice, while the coasters and pouch keep the serving pieces together between uses.

A conventional glass tumbler is the simpler choice if you want a familiar, easy-care vessel for frequent use. These wooden glasses make more sense when the material and gift presentation are part of the point. It makes sense if you’re buying for someone who enjoys whiskey rituals and doesn’t mind hand washing. It might not be a great match if dishwasher convenience, hot-drink use, or a clearly stated glass capacity matters to you.

Practical doubts

What comes in the gift box? It includes two wooden glasses, six stainless steel stones, tongs, two felt coasters, and a storage pouch.

Can the glasses be used for hot drinks? No. The product description says they’re intended for chilled and room-temperature beverages, not hot drinks.

What does the charred interior add? It’s described as releasing subtle wood aromas, which may appeal to someone who likes a more distinctive whiskey-tasting setup.

Is it worth it?

This set is easiest to justify as a thoughtful whiskey gift, especially when two matching-but-individually grained wooden glasses and the included serving accessories are more appealing than a basic glass-only pair. The stones, coasters, tongs, and pouch make it feel ready to present, while the charred interior gives the glasses a clear point of difference.

The compromises are practical rather than complicated: hand washing is required, hot drinks aren’t suitable, and the listing doesn’t give the glasses’ capacity. Choose it for a whiskey fan who values wood, presentation, and a distinctive tasting setup. Skip it if you need an everyday, low-maintenance glass or want exact size details before buying.
