## Description

For gamers and keyboard enthusiasts who want a compact setup with room to personalize, the Womier WK61 pairs a 60% layout with hot-swappable switches and RGB backlighting.

Its 61-key QWERTY layout takes up less desk space than a full-size keyboard, leaving more room for mouse movement and other gear. The wired USB-C connection keeps the keyboard connected to your setup.

Linear red switches provide a smooth key feel, while the theme-style case and customizable lighting add a distinctive look for gaming or everyday typing.

## Getting the most from it

Use the WK61 for a streamlined gaming desk, a smaller workstation, or a setup where you want to keep the main keys close at hand. Its compact layout gives you more open space beside the keyboard than a full-size design, which can be useful when arranging a mouse and other desktop accessories.

The red linear switches are hot-swappable, making it easier to tailor the keyboard with compatible switches as your preferences change. Three replaceable sublimation keycaps let you add color accents, and the included keycap puller supports keycap changes. Multi-layer sound-dampening material helps reduce hollow resonance for a steadier-sounding typing experience.

## Why it’s worth it

The WK61 brings several customization options together in a small footprint: switch swapping, programmable RGB effects, macro settings, and replaceable accent keycaps. The frosted case diffuses the lighting around the keyboard when RGB is on, while its translucent finish has a clean look with the lights off. Want to personalize a desk without moving to a larger keyboard? This layout makes that a practical part of the setup.

Buyers often highlight the vivid lighting, range of RGB effects, and satisfying key feel. Feedback on reliability is mixed, so these impressions are best treated as individual customer experiences rather than a performance guarantee. For shoppers comparing a compact custom-style board with a conventional full-size keyboard, the WK61 prioritizes desk space and personalization over a number pad and full-size layout.

## Questions before you buy

**How many keys does the WK61 have?** It has 61 keys in a compact QWERTY layout, placing it in the 60% keyboard category.

**Can you change the switches?** Yes. The keyboard is hot-swappable, so compatible switches can be changed to adjust the typing feel.

**Can you customize the lighting and macros?** Yes. The lighting offers multiple RGB effects, and programmable software supports lighting and macro settings. Shortcut controls can also switch between preset effects.

## Buying verdict

Choose the Womier WK61 if you want a compact wired mechanical keyboard that makes customization part of the experience. Its 61-key layout saves desk space, while hot-swappable linear switches, programmable RGB, macro settings, and replaceable accent keycaps give gamers and DIY-minded users several ways to make the setup their own.
