## Tech summary
The Q61 V2 combines a compact layout with features that let you tailor the keyboard to your setup. Hot-swappable support makes it possible to customize the switches without soldering.

QMK/VIA support adds another layer of personalization. You can remap keys, set shortcuts, and customize layouts, key remapping is done in wired mode, and the changes work in both wired and wireless modes. The compact format is useful when you want to keep more desk space available for a mouse, notebook, or other essentials.

## Everyday compatibility
Switch between Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C to match the connection you need. The keyboard supports Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, making it suited to setups that move between a computer and other devices. For a wired session, connect through USB-C, for wireless use, choose Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz connection.

## Everyday use
At a gaming station, the compact layout keeps the keyboard’s footprint contained, while the knob gives you a direct way to adjust volume. For work, programming, or study, QMK/VIA customization lets you assign useful shortcuts and arrange keys around your workflow. RGB effects add adjustable color and lighting patterns, including music-rhythm effects through the driver, and the backlight can be turned off when you prefer a darker setup.

The hot-swappable design is useful if you want to change the keyboard’s mechanical switches as your preferences evolve. It supports both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, with no soldering required. Choose this compact approach when desk space and personalization matter more than having a larger keyboard layout.

## Before you decide
**Which connection options does the Q61 V2 offer?** It supports Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and a wired USB-C connection, so you can select the mode that suits your device and setup.
