WINMAU wmb0043 Bristle Dartboard with Sisal, Triple Core and Rota-Lock

A casual board can suit occasional throws, while a tournament-standard setup is built around consistent practice and match play. The WINMAU wmb0043 brings competition-level specifications to a home or club darts area.

Its sisal construction and Triple Core design are intended to support smooth dart penetration and consistent scoring. Ultra-thin angled wiring helps keep more of the scoring area open.

Rota-Lock makes it possible to secure and level the board during installation, so you can focus on setting up a stable place to play.

Technical overview

• Type: Bristle dartboard
• Material: Sisal
• Construction: Triple Core sisal
• Wiring: Ultra-thin, 60° angled wire
• Mounting system: Rota-Lock
• Included components: Rota-Lock, Spirit Master

The multi-layer sisal construction is designed to balance fiber density for dart penetration and board durability. Its ultra-thin, 60° angled wire is designed to guide darts toward the scoring zones, helping reduce bounce-outs during a session. Density Control wire creates a thinner bull and outer bull, opening access to those key scoring areas.

The board is designed to meet professional tournament specifications, making it relevant for structured practice, league play, and competitive environments. That focus gives players a competition-oriented alternative to a basic board intended mainly for casual use. Customer feedback also highlights the thin wiring, firm dart retention, solid feel, and straightforward mounting, these are useful points to consider when choosing a board for a regular playing area.

Best use cases

For home practice, the tournament-standard design gives players a consistent target for drills and games. The sisal surface and slim wire layout support a clear scoring area, while the bull and outer bull wire design focuses on access around the center. In a league or club setting, the same competition-oriented specifications make the board suited to regular match play.

A practical setup starts with a secure wall location and a level board. Rota-Lock is designed to help adjust the fit, which is useful when you want the target to sit steadily for repeated sessions. The rotating number ring described for the Blade X generation can help distribute wear around the board when that version is selected.

What you get

The listed components are Rota-Lock and Spirit Master. Rota-Lock is the mounting system, supporting a secure, level installation. Together with the board’s competition-focused design, these components suit a dedicated home darts space or a club setup where consistent positioning matters.

When it makes sense

This board makes sense for players who want a sisal dartboard designed around tournament specifications rather than a setup aimed only at occasional recreational play. Its Triple Core construction, angled wire, thinner bull design, and Rota-Lock mounting system each address a practical part of play: dart entry, access to scoring zones, and stable installation. Choose it for a home practice area, league play, or a competitive darts environment where those features support a focused, repeatable setup.
