## Description

When background noise makes a commute or work session harder to focus on, the Wentronic Y01 combines over-ear listening with active noise canceling. It also has a built-in microphone for calls, so you can move between music and a meeting without changing headphones.

The foldable design and included 3.5mm audio cable give you two ways to use it: wirelessly or wired. Bluetooth 5.3 also supports connecting to two devices at once.

The headline battery figure is up to 48 hours, though actual listening time can vary. From the way it is set up, these headphones aim to cover everyday listening and travel rather than specialize in one narrow use.

## On-body feel

Soft protein-leather earcups with memory foam cushioning, an adjustable headband, and 90-degree rotating earcups are intended to make the fit more accommodating for longer listening sessions. The earcups fold for storage, which is useful when you want to tuck them into a bag after a flight or pack them alongside work gear. No carrying case is listed, so the foldable design helps with storage but does not establish how well the headphones are protected in transit.

Picture settling in on a train, folding the earcups out, and listening wirelessly, later, you could plug in the supplied audio cable if you would rather use a wired connection. You’ll appreciate it if you want one pair for music, calls, and travel, and value the option to connect it to a phone and another Bluetooth device. Better avoided if you need detailed information about noise-canceling performance or a more exact fit before choosing: the product description does not give those specifics.

## Pros

The useful difference here is flexibility. Active noise canceling is paired with 40mm dynamic drivers, a microphone, and multipoint Bluetooth, while the foldable build and wired mode offer alternatives to a basic wireless-only setup. For example, you could keep a phone and computer connected and switch between them for a call and personal listening, rather than repeatedly pairing after every change of device.

The stated up-to-48-hour playtime is appealing for longer stretches away from a charger, but it is a maximum claim, not a guarantee for every listening pattern. And while the listing describes the sound as Hi-Res with deep bass and detailed highs, it does not provide further audio measurements or a noise-canceling rating. If those details are central to your decision, the description leaves room for uncertainty.

## Final verdict

The Y01 makes sense if you want over-ear headphones that can handle wireless listening, calls, and occasional wired use without carrying separate gear. Its combination of multipoint connection and a foldable design gives it a practical everyday angle compared with a simpler pair that only covers wireless playback. On the other hand, shoppers who need documented noise-canceling results, precise fit details, or more evidence about sound performance may prefer a model with fuller specifications. Buy into the Y01 for its range of stated functions, skip it if those missing performance details are deal-breakers.
