## Description

Six individual 3.2 oz tins make the WATERELF KS003 putty set easy to divide among play sessions or share with friends. Across the set, two putties react to UV light, two are heat-sensitive, and two glow in the dark, giving kids several color effects to explore.

The putty can be stretched, twisted, squished, folded, and shaped for hands-on creative play. Reusable tins help keep each variety organized between sessions.

## Usage tips

Try the UV-reactive putties in sunlight or under UV light, and warm the heat-sensitive varieties with your hands to see their color response. The glow-in-the-dark putties glow after exposure to light. These different effects make it easy to turn a quiet play break into a simple color-and-texture activity: compare the varieties, shape them, then watch how their appearance changes.

For a playdate, siblings can each choose a tin, or one child can explore the set a variety at a time. Return the putty to its tin after play to keep the colors organized and the set ready for another session.

## Strengths

The main draw is variety: rather than offering one repeated effect, the set combines UV-reactive, heat-sensitive, and glow-in-the-dark putties. That gives children different ways to interact with color while they stretch, fold, and shape the material. Is a set with several effects more engaging than a single-style putty? For kids who enjoy sensory play and visual surprises, the changing responses add another element to hands-on exploration.

Buyers often describe the colors and play as appealing, including color changes as the putty moves through light. Feedback on texture and stickiness is mixed, so the tactile feel may not be the same for every child. The set is also designed for creative thinking, color recognition, and hand-eye coordination through play.

What age range is recommended? The manufacturer recommends the set for children from 36 months to 10 years.

## Is it worth it?

This set suits families looking for more than a single-effect putty, with six tins that offer distinct color responses and reusable containers for keeping them sorted. It also works well for sharing at playdates or bringing several hands-on options into creative time. For children drawn to color changes, tactile play, and shaping putty, the mix of UV, heat, and glow effects is the reason to choose this set.
