## Description

Some households prefer a dedicated filter beneath the sink, while others prioritize keeping their existing faucet setup simple. The Waterdrop WD-TSA-UF connects to a compatible faucet for filtered water at the sink. Its 9-stage system uses three compact filters and a 0.01 μm ultrafiltration membrane. It is designed to reduce several common water impurities while retaining beneficial minerals.

## Technical overview
The three-filter system combines multiple filtration stages to help reduce chlorine, fluoride, taste and odor, lead, heavy metals, rust, sediment, sand, cysts, and other particles. The 0.01 μm membrane targets particles at that size, and the filtration system is described as tested by a third-party lab. Because it does not reduce TDS, it is suited to households seeking filtration for specific impurities while keeping beneficial minerals in the water.

- Type: Under-sink ultrafiltration system
- Filtration: 9 stages with a 0.01 μm membrane
- Filter replacement: PP filter up to 6 months, GC filter 8–12 months, UF filter up to 12 months, depending on water quality and use
- Installation: Twist-and-lock filters and push-to-connect fittings

## Requirements
The system is designed for standard under-sink cold-water connections and municipal tap water. It connects directly to most faucets with 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch female NPT threads. For a quick-connect faucet, Waterdrop offers adapter fittings, check the connection style before installation. The system is not for hot water. For well water, use it with a pre-filtration system. The faucet is not included, so plan to connect the unit to a compatible existing faucet.

## Practical tips
The twist-and-lock filter design supports straightforward replacement, and the push-to-connect fittings are intended to make installation a DIY task for most standard cold-water setups. Staggered replacement intervals let you maintain each filter on its own schedule, actual service life depends on water quality and use. Follow the stated schedule for each filter rather than treating the set as a single replacement item.

A typical use is filling a glass or a cooking pot at the kitchen sink, with the filtration system installed below and connected to the faucet. Buyers often highlight the water’s taste and clarity, and some appreciate the installation parts and filtration. Feedback is mixed on water flow and leak-free use, so careful connections during setup are important.

## Is it worth it?
The WD-TSA-UF is a practical fit for people who want under-sink filtration for municipal cold tap water without reducing TDS. Its multi-stage design addresses a range of listed impurities, while the separate filter schedule makes routine maintenance easy to plan. Compared with a simpler filter focused on fewer treatment stages, this system is worth considering when reducing chlorine, taste and odor, fluoride, sediment, and other listed particles is part of the household’s filtration goal. The direct-to-faucet format keeps the setup centered at the sink, making it useful for everyday drinking and cooking water.
