WASOTO Women's Heated Jacket with 18400 mAh Battery

A regular insulated jacket relies on its layers alone, this WASOTO adds powered warmth for cold outings when you want another way to manage comfort. That makes it a different kind of choice, not a substitute for checking fit and weather protection.

It has a slim-fit cut, a detachable hood, and water-resistant outer fabric. The battery pack is included, so the jacket is designed to heat once connected.

For a chilly hike, you could switch on the heat before heading out and adjust it as conditions change. The three settings offer some control, but the jacket is still water-resistant, not described as waterproof.

Technical details

The jacket has five carbon-fiber heating areas intended to warm the body's core, with three heat settings controlled by a power button. The product description says the battery supplies constant voltage to maintain steady heat, actual warmth and runtime can depend on use, and no specific runtime is provided on the spec sheet.

Its 18400 mAh battery supports PD 2.0/3.0 fast charging and includes USB and Type-C interfaces for charging mobile devices. The outer layer is water-resistant, while the inner layer is described as soft and breathable. Fleece at the cuffs and collar, plus the detachable hood, adds coverage. Adjustable cuffs and hem help limit drafts, and a double-click hides the indicator LEDs while heating.

The jacket is described as hand- and machine-washable. Follow the care instructions for the garment and battery rather than assuming the pack can be washed with it.

What it works with

The stated uses include hiking, cycling, skiing, and ice skating, as well as indoor activities. Its removable hood gives you the option to change the coverage, while the adjustable cuffs and hem are useful when cold air gets in around the openings. The USB and Type-C ports also let the battery charge mobile devices, so it can serve another purpose during an outing.

It suits you if you want adjustable, built-in heat for outdoor plans and prefer a slim-fit jacket with a removable hood. Compared with a basic non-heated layer, it adds powered warmth and battery features, compared with a jacket chosen primarily for heavy rain, its water-resistant description leaves an important gap.

Usage tips

Check the size guide shown near the size selection and in the product description before choosing a size. A slim fit may feel different from a roomier hiking layer, especially if you plan to wear thicker clothing underneath. Connect the battery to activate heating, then use the button to select a level, double-click it to hide the LEDs without turning off the heat.

For everyday use, the battery’s device-charging ports may be handy, but sharing its charge with a phone could leave less capacity for the jacket. The listing does not state how long the jacket runs per charge, so don’t plan a long outing around an assumed all-day runtime.

Practical doubts

Is the jacket waterproof? No. The fabric is described as water-resistant, which is not the same as a waterproof rating.

Can the hood be removed? Yes. The hood is detachable, so you can wear the jacket with or without it.

Can its battery charge a phone? The battery has USB and Type-C interfaces and is described as able to charge mobile devices. The listing does not specify device compatibility or charging speed for a particular phone.

Is it worth it?

Not the best choice if you need confirmed waterproof protection, a roomy cut, or a stated runtime for planning extended time outdoors. The lack of a runtime figure matters most when access to charging is limited. It is more compelling if adjustable heat, a detachable hood, and a battery that can also charge devices match your routine. Before buying, use the size guide and weigh that added functionality against the simpler, lighter approach of choosing a non-heated jacket.
