## Description

Some dogs need a simple place to settle, others benefit from cushioning designed to ease pressure around their joints. The Warmrest WR-PET12 brings orthopedic egg-crate foam to a roomy, rectangular bed. Its removable, machine-washable cover makes routine care straightforward. Use it indoors or in the car for dogs with a recommended maximum weight of 70 pounds.

## Fit and sizing

This large cream bed measures 36 x 27 x 3 inches, giving dogs a defined surface for resting in a crate or on the floor. Its rectangular shape works for familiar sleep spots at home, and the product is recommended for indoor use and car use. The nonskid bottom helps keep the bed in place on the surface beneath it.

The manufacturer lists the bed for all breed sizes, while the recommended maximum weight is 70 pounds. Use that weight guidance when choosing a bed for your dog. The three-inch profile and egg-crate foam provide a cushioned resting surface without changing the bed’s straightforward mat-style format.

## Strengths

The egg-crate foam is shaped to support a dog’s body, with the stated purpose of helping relieve pressure on joints. That makes this bed a practical choice for dogs that benefit from a cushioned place to rest, including senior dogs and active dogs. It is designed to support the spine, hips, and elbows as well as the joints, giving the resting surface a more supportive focus than a basic mat.

Everyday upkeep is built into the design. The cover is removable and machine washable, so it can be taken off for cleaning rather than requiring the entire bed to go into the wash. The bed is also listed as waterproof, and its nonskid bottom helps it stay settled during use. For a typical day, place it in your dog’s usual indoor resting area, it can also serve as a familiar spot in the car.
