## Description

Rigid arch support helps stabilize each step in work boots, while layered cushioning softens impact under the heel and forefoot. These heavy-duty orthotic insoles are designed for wearers over 220 pounds and for time spent standing or walking.

This pair is sized for men's 6–6.5 or women's 8–8.5. WalkHero offers the design in 12 sizes for work shoes, sneakers, casual shoes, and leather boots.

A firm, support-focused design sets these apart from basic foam inserts. The combination of arch structure and cushioning is made to support a more stable stride during demanding days on your feet.

## Fit and sizing
This version fits men's sizes 6–6.5 or women's sizes 8–8.5. Choose the size that corresponds to your shoes to position the arch support correctly. The insoles are designed for work boots and also suit work shoes, sneakers, casual shoes, and leather boots.

The shaped support is intended to sit beneath the arch, with a deep heel cup helping guide foot alignment. If you are new to firm arch support, introduce the insoles gradually: start with 2–3 hours of wear per day and increase wear time over 1–2 weeks as your feet adjust.

## Why it’s worth it
A lightweight nylon arch support provides a firm foundation, while shock-absorbing cushioning balances support with comfort at the heel and forefoot. This structure is designed to help manage pressure and foot fatigue during long periods of standing or walking. The biomechanical shape also supports alignment from heel to toe, including for people dealing with overpronation.

Buyers often highlight the arch support, a stable feel, and comfort during long days on their feet. Feedback on cushioning and durability is mixed: some describe the cushioning as balanced, while others would prefer more padding, reports on how long the insoles last also vary. The design’s emphasis is on structured support rather than a soft, compressible foam feel.

## When it makes sense
These insoles make sense for work boots or everyday shoes when a basic insert does not provide the structured arch support you want. For example, during a shift that involves standing and walking, the firm arch support helps create a more stable base, while the layered cushioning helps absorb impact at the heel and forefoot.

Choose this design when support and alignment are a priority alongside cushioning, particularly for footwear used through long days on your feet. Its range of shoe applications makes it useful beyond work boots, so the same support-focused approach can carry over to sneakers or casual shoes.
