## Description

When loading a washer or dryer in a laundry room, raising the appliance can make everyday access more comfortable. The VRTCP XYJDG-W pedestal adds a 16-inch lift and a sliding drawer for laundry essentials. Could a raised base also help organize the space around your machine? Its carbon-steel frame is designed to support appliances weighing up to 440 lbs.

## Spec sheet
- Type: Washer and dryer pedestal
- Model: XYJDG-W
- Dimensions: 28 x 28 x 16 inches
- Material: Carbon steel
- Color: White
- Weight capacity: 440 lbs
- Storage: Built-in sliding drawer
- Support: Four anti-slip vibration pads
- Finish: Powder-coated

The reinforced top ribs and welded steel frame are designed to distribute weight and provide a stable platform for a washer or dryer. A powder-coated finish helps resist scratches and corrosion, while the carbon-steel construction is intended to handle humid laundry-room conditions. The four anti-slip pads help reduce vibration and movement during spin cycles, which can make the stand a practical choice for a frequently used laundry area.

## Best use cases
Use the pedestal to lift a washer or dryer and keep laundry supplies close at hand. The raised position can make loading and unloading more comfortable by reducing the need to bend as far. The enclosed sliding drawer provides a dedicated place for detergent, dryer sheets, and cleaning supplies, keeping everyday items accessible without leaving them on top of the appliance or beside it.

For a laundry room where storage matters, the drawer offers a different approach from a basic open riser: it uses the space beneath the appliance for supplies while keeping them out of sight. The elevated base also separates the appliance from the floor, which can help keep it away from accidental splashes. Buyers often praise the sturdy feel and straightforward assembly, while feedback on stability is mixed.

## What’s included
The product is listed as one white pedestal, with the storage drawer built into the stand. Its footprint is 28 x 28 inches and its height is 16 inches, useful measurements to consider when planning where to place it and how the appliance will sit on the base. The listed weight capacity is 440 lbs.

## What to clarify
**How tall is the pedestal?** It raises the appliance by 16 inches, according to the listed product dimensions.

**What is the weight capacity?** The pedestal is rated to support up to 440 lbs. The reinforced top is designed to distribute the appliance’s weight across the frame.

**What can I store in the drawer?** It is intended for laundry essentials such as detergent, dryer sheets, and cleaning supplies, keeping them within reach while helping contain clutter.

## Should you buy it?
Choose the VRTCP XYJDG-W if you want to raise a washer or dryer and add concealed storage in the same footprint. Its steel construction, 440 lb capacity, vibration pads, and built-in drawer address practical laundry-room needs together, making it a useful fit for households that want supplies close by and a more accessible appliance height.
