VOLISUN Ceiling Fan with Light, 20-Inch

A ceiling fan with an integrated light can be a practical alternative to choosing separate fixtures when both airflow and adjustable lighting matter in one room.

This VOLISUN model combines a flush-mount, low-profile design with remote and app controls.

Its appeal is convenience, though the available details leave a few performance questions unanswered.

Technical details

The light is dimmable, with a stated color-temperature range of 3000K to 6500K. That gives you room to choose warmer light for winding down or cooler light for tasks, rather than settling for one fixed tone. Brightness and color temperature can be adjusted with the remote or mobile app, and a memory function is intended to bring back your preferred light settings when switched on again.

For airflow, there are six speed settings. The product is described as quiet, but no noise level or airflow measurement is provided, so those claims are hard to compare with another fan based on the listing alone. The fan and light share a 20-inch flush-mount fixture, a detail worth weighing if you want a subtle ceiling profile rather than a more prominent fan.

Everyday compatibility

The listed room recommendation is 15–25 m², and suggested settings include bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and kids’ rooms. That makes it relevant for everyday indoor use where adjustable light and a breeze are both useful. For example, you could set a warmer tone for an evening in the bedroom, then use a brighter, cooler setting when getting ready.

The remote and app offer two ways to adjust the fixture, while the memory feature is meant to reduce repeated setup. The listing does not specify smart-home or voice-assistant compatibility, so the app control should not be taken as evidence of those features. A separate fan with a more prominent blade design may suit buyers who prioritize airflow specifications, which are not included here.

Usage tips

Use the six fan speeds to choose between a gentler breeze and a stronger setting, and adjust the light separately to suit the activity. The memory function may help keep a familiar lighting setup, including when using the wall switch, according to the product details. If you expect to change settings often, keep the remote accessible and consider whether app control fits the way you use the room.

Installation is described as simplified, with most components preassembled, but the wiring still needs to be connected before mounting. Follow the included manual and account for that electrical work when deciding whether this is a straightforward DIY project for you. The product listing also states that service is provided for three years in case of LED light malfunction or defects, it does not detail the terms beyond that description.

Practical doubts

Does it arrive fully assembled? Most components are said to be preassembled, but you still need to connect the wires and mount the fixture. The included manual is intended to guide installation.

Will it remember my light settings? The stated memory function saves preferred light settings and recalls them when the fan light is turned on with the remote or wall switch.

Is the fan’s noise level specified? No decibel figure is provided. The listing describes quiet operation, but does not give a measurement for comparing noise levels.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want a low-profile ceiling fixture that combines adjustable LED lighting, multiple fan speeds, and remote or app control in a room within the stated size recommendation. It might not be a great match if you need documented airflow or noise figures, or if you’re looking for specified smart-home integration. The key trade-off is convenience and a compact flush-mount format versus having detailed performance data before choosing.
