## Description

Some pet owners are shopping for a complete water station, others want replacement filters for a fountain they already use. The VKIMISS W1-12+12 set supplies both carbon filters and pre-filter sponges. It is made for the VKIMISS 3.2 L/108 oz wireless cat water fountain. The two-part set helps address taste and odor as well as visible debris.

## Who it’s for

This replacement set is for households using the compatible VKIMISS 3.2 L/108 oz fountain for cats or dogs. It suits owners who want to refresh the fountain’s filtration components without replacing the drinking station. The carbon media is intended to reduce chlorine taste and odor in tap water, while the sponges capture pet hair, dirt, and food particles.

If you are comparing filter packs, the practical distinction here is that this set includes both filter types: carbon filters for water taste and odor, and sponges for particles. That makes it a suitable choice when you want to replace both parts as part of the same fountain-care routine. For a home with multiple pets or a pet that drinks frequently, the recommended replacement interval can help guide when to prepare the next set.

## Why it’s worth it

The combined filtration approach serves two different needs during everyday fountain use. Carbon filters help reduce the taste and odor of chlorine in tap water, which can make the water more appealing to pets. The pre-filter sponges catch hair, dirt, and food particles before they remain in the water. Together, these components support routine fountain upkeep for cats and dogs.

The 12-filter and 12-sponge quantity gives you matching replacement parts for repeated changes. VKIMISS recommends replacing the filter and sponge every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how often your pet drinks and how many pets use the fountain. That guidance makes it easier to plan a regular maintenance routine around your household’s use rather than treating the filter as a one-time purchase.

Before use, soak each filter in clean water for 5 minutes, then rinse it for 30 seconds. This preparation helps remove carbon dust or powder from the filter before it goes into the fountain. It’s a great fit if you want a straightforward replacement set for the compatible fountain and prefer to change both filtration components together.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the VKIMISS W1-12+12 if your fountain is the 3.2 L/108 oz wireless VKIMISS model and you need replacement carbon filters plus pre-filter sponges. Its main benefit is the two-stage combination: carbon media addresses chlorine taste and odor, while the sponges capture hair, dirt, and food particles. With a recommended change interval of 1 to 2 weeks based on drinking frequency and the number of pets, this set is a practical match for maintaining that fountain as part of your pets’ regular water routine.
