## Description

Replacing a worn pickguard and changing your guitar’s look call for the same practical fit, but not always the same finish. This cream 3-ply pickguard is made for a specific Stratocaster setup. Its pre-drilled holes and included mounting screws support a straightforward replacement.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The cream 3-ply finish gives a Stratocaster a distinct visual update while covering the area around the pickups and controls. It works for a repair, a refresh of a worn pickguard, or a custom build where this color and layout suit the guitar. If you’re choosing between a cosmetic change and replacing an existing part, this pickguard can serve both purposes when the instrument has the matching body routing.

Aluminum foil shielding on the back is designed to reduce electrical noise, hum, and interference. That can be useful when you want a shielded pickguard as part of a guitar repair or build. The screw holes are counterbored so the screws sit flush with the surface, and the pickup and control openings are precision cut for standard Stratocaster components. A protective film covers the face during handling, peel it away before installation.

## At a glance

- Type: Electric guitar pickguard / scratch plate
- Color and finish: Cream 3-ply
- Layout: SSS, with three single-coil pickup openings
- Mounting: 11-hole modern-style pattern
- Shielding: Aluminum foil on the back
- Thickness: Approximately 2.2 mm
- Included: 11 matching mounting screws

## Tips for day-to-day use

Before fitting the guard, compare the guitar’s existing screw pattern and pickup layout with the 11-hole modern-style design. This version is intended for standard American- and Mexican-made Fender Stratocaster SSS models with that routing. It is not designed for Squier, imported replicas, or other non-Fender Strat-style instruments, some vintage or modified guitars may need minor adjustments.

For installation, align the pickup and control openings, then seat the included screws in the counterbored holes. The protective film is there to help guard the surface during handling, so remove it before mounting the pickguard. This makes the part suitable for a hands-on replacement as well as a repair or custom-build project.

## What to clarify

**Which guitars is this pickguard designed for?** It is made for standard American- and Mexican-made Fender Stratocaster SSS guitars with modern-style 11-hole body routing. It is not compatible with Squier or other non-Fender Strat-style instruments.

**Are mounting screws included?** Yes. The package includes 11 matching screws for the pickguard’s mounting holes.

**Does it have shielding?** Yes. Aluminum foil shielding covers the back and is designed to reduce electrical noise, hum, and interference.

## Final verdict

For a player or repairer updating a compatible Stratocaster, this pickguard brings together a cream 3-ply look, an 11-hole SSS layout, and built-in foil shielding. The matching screws and counterbored mounting holes make it a practical replacement for a standard modern-routing Fender Stratocaster, whether the goal is to refresh the instrument’s appearance or complete a repair.
