## Description

At 368mm × 225mm, this white pearl pickguard is made for a 13-hole, modern standard 4-string Precision Bass layout. Its 3-ply PVC construction gives a replacement plate a smooth finished edge, while aluminum foil on the back is designed to help reduce signal interference and hum.

Choose it when you want a white pearl look with shielding on a standard-layout replacement. If your priority is a specific nonstandard or vintage hole pattern, matching the plate to that instrument’s layout is the more practical approach.

## Technical details
- Type: Replacement pickguard for modern standard 4-string Precision Bass models
- Format: 13-hole mounting pattern
- Size: 368mm × 225mm (14.48" × 8.85")
- Material: 3-ply PVC
- Color: White pearl
- Shielding: Aluminum foil on the back
- Compatibility: Designed mainly for USA and Mexican modern standard models, not for Squier

The 13-hole layout is intended for standard instruments, with the overall dimensions and screw-hole spacing helping you compare the plate against your bass before installation. Some vintage, modified, or other nonstandard models may need minor adjustments, such as light sanding, trimming, or re-drilling. For a direct replacement, matching the existing outline and screw positions is the useful first step.

## How to use it
Use the pickguard as a replacement plate for a compatible bass, checking the body outline and mounting-hole positions against your instrument. The aluminum foil shielding is intended to help limit interference and hum, which can be useful during practice, recording, or performance. It’s a practical detail for players choosing a plate based not only on appearance, but also on shielding.

Two protective film layers cover the surface during shipping and handling. Peel off both layers before installation to reveal the finished white pearl surface. If your instrument has a vintage, modified, or nonstandard layout, plan for the small fitting adjustments that may be needed rather than assuming every screw position will align directly.

## In the box
The kit includes one pickguard and a matching set of mounting screws. Having the screws together with the plate makes it easier to prepare for a replacement without sourcing separate mounting hardware.

## What to clarify
**Is this pickguard designed for Squier basses?** No. It is intended mainly for USA and Mexican modern standard 4-string Precision Bass models and is not designed for Squier.

**Can it be used on a vintage or modified bass?** It may need minor fitting work, such as light sanding, trimming, or re-drilling, depending on the instrument’s outline and hole positions.

**Should the protective film stay on during installation?** Remove both layers before installing the pickguard to expose its finished surface.

## When it makes sense
This replacement suits players looking for a white pearl pickguard for a modern standard 4-string Precision Bass, with a 13-hole pattern, 3-ply PVC construction, and aluminum foil shielding. It’s a focused choice when the standard layout matches your instrument and you want the mounting screws included with the plate.
