VIYET SL002 Metal Storage Locker, 1-Door Gray Steel Cabinet with Shelf

Choosing storage often comes down to whether you need quick access to open shelves or a place to keep belongings behind a door. The VIYET SL002 offers enclosed, lockable storage in a freestanding metal cabinet, with one shelf to help organize files, folders, and everyday items.

Its gray finish and single-door design suit a home office, bedroom, classroom, or entryway. Ventilation openings, raised legs, and a flat-panel door add practical details for everyday organization.

Best use cases

Use the locker to keep work files and folders together in a home office, or to give daily necessities a dedicated place in a bedroom, classroom, porch, or dressing area. Its enclosed design offers a different approach from open shelving: belongings stay behind a door, while the interior shelf helps separate items within the cabinet. Vent openings provide airflow, and the legs lift the cabinet base off the floor.

For clothing and accessories, the cabinet has pre-made holes for the included hanger hooks. They can be used for items such as hats, scarves, and backpacks. The metal construction and powder-coated surface are designed for straightforward cleaning, making the locker useful in spaces where organized, easy-to-maintain storage matters.

Usage tips

Assemble the freestanding cabinet using the included instructions. Once set up, place it on the floor in your chosen room and arrange items on the shelf according to how you use the space. To secure the door, pair it with a combination or key padlock. The pre-made holes allow you to install the hanger hooks for smaller items you want to keep off the shelf.

Buyers highlight the assembly instructions and ease of putting the cabinet together, along with its appearance and stability. These impressions can help when choosing between a simple open organizer and a cabinet that combines enclosed storage with a shelf and hanging options.

What to clarify

Can the locker be secured? Yes. The door has a handle and embedded buckle and can be used with a combination padlock or a key padlock.

What can be stored inside? It is recommended for files and folders, and its shelf can also help organize everyday belongings. The hanger hooks provide another way to arrange clothing and accessories such as hats, scarves, or backpacks.

Does assembly require instructions? The locker is assembled with the included instructions. The product information also describes an installation video and email support for assembly questions.

Buying verdict

The VIYET SL002 is a practical fit when you want a tall, single-door cabinet rather than open storage alone. Its metal construction, lockable door, shelf, ventilation, and hook-ready layout make it useful for organizing files, clothing, and daily essentials in a home office or other everyday space.
