## Description

A home workout space may need more cushioning than a bare floor, while a room used for several activities benefits from flooring that can be rearranged. The VivaLuz VLBG06-GM4-12 uses interlocking EVA foam tiles to create a padded area for exercise or equipment. The set contains 16 tiles and is listed as covering 64 square feet. Its puzzle-piece format also lets you adapt the layout to the space.

## At a glance

These square, off-white mats are made from EVA foam and are described as cushioned, slip resistant, and waterproof. The product listing gives each tile dimensions of 24"L x 24"W, and the set is marketed at 1/2-inch thickness. A separate item-thickness field says 0.6 inches, though, so the supplied specifications do not give one consistent thickness figure. If that measurement matters for your setup, treat it as an item to clarify before choosing.

The interlocking design is intended to protect floors from scratches, scuffs, and impact while providing a softer surface for activities such as yoga, push-ups, and strength training. It is also presented for use beneath workout equipment. Compared with exercising directly on a hard floor, the foam adds cushioning, compared with a fixed floor covering, separate tiles can be lifted and rearranged. The listing says the tiles can be cut to fit corners or unusual spaces and includes border pieces for a finished edge.

## Cleaning & care

Care is straightforward according to the listed instructions: wipe the surface with a damp cloth. The product is described as waterproof and easy to clean, with a surface intended to resist stains. That makes wipe-down maintenance a practical fit for regular home workouts. The information provided does not specify cleaning products or other care steps, so a damp-cloth wipe is the supported approach.

## Everyday use

A practical setup could place the tiles in a home gym to cushion the area where you do floor exercises, then arrange equipment on the same surface. The manufacturer also lists garages, fitness rooms, and kids’ play areas as possible settings. Because the tiles connect like a puzzle and can be detached, the covered area can be configured around the room rather than treated as one fixed mat. The listing also describes the foam as absorbing impact and reducing noise and vibration, though it does not provide measured reduction figures.

It’s a great fit if you want a modular padded floor for direct exercise and general equipment protection in a home workout area. The 64-square-foot coverage gives you a stated area to plan around, while the 24-inch square tile dimensions help you picture how the pieces may lay out. For a single exercise spot, a smaller mat may involve less setup, this set is geared toward covering a broader area.

## When it makes sense

Choose these tiles when flexible coverage, cushioned floor exercises, and a surface that can be wiped clean are central to your setup. The interlocking format is useful when you want to define a workout zone or adjust its shape, and the stated coverage suits buyers planning beyond one small exercise station. Keep the thickness discrepancy in mind if the exact height is important for fitting equipment or matching an adjoining floor. The listing does not give a specific load rating, so it does not establish a maximum equipment weight.
