## Description

## Getting the most from it

A home gym needs floor protection and a steady surface for movement and equipment. VivaLuz interlocking mats combine a cushioned EVA foam base with a textured, non-slip top to create a defined workout area for activities such as yoga, HIIT, and light weightlifting. The 0.4-inch thickness adds cushioning underfoot while the firm surface supports balance exercises.

Each square tile measures 24 by 24 inches, so you can arrange the six-piece set to suit your workout space. The interlocking edges connect without tools, and detachable border strips give the finished layout a clean edge. Use the tiles to cover a workout zone or shape the arrangement around a home gym setup.

The surface is designed to help absorb impact noise and vibration from activities such as plyometric jumps, treadmills, and walking pads. That makes the mats useful in a basement or apartment workout area where reducing thuds can make exercise more considerate of others at home. For equipment, the product guidance recommends placing the tiles on hard flooring rather than high-pile carpet to keep the interlocking layout stable.

## Why it makes sense

A single large mat offers a fixed footprint, while interlocking tiles let you build a workout surface to fit the available floor area. You can also separate and rearrange the pieces as your setup changes. Their cushioned construction is intended to protect hardwood, tile, and concrete from equipment scratches and light impacts, while the textured top provides traction during sweaty sessions.

After a workout, wipe the mats with a damp cloth, mild soap can be used for cleaning. The water-resistant, sweat-resistant materials are suited to regular home gym use, so routine care stays straightforward. For a compact exercise space that needs both floor coverage and a configurable layout, the puzzle-mat format provides a practical alternative to a fixed-size floor covering.
