Vivaflex Trifold Sofa Bed 57.1-Inch

The tri-fold design gives this Vivaflex sofa bed a straightforward way to switch from a place to sit to a flat lounging surface. Its corduroy upholstery and resilient foam are intended to make it comfortable for both positions, while the raised backrest and seat add support when it is folded as a couch. At 57.09 x 31.5 x 27.95 inches, it is sized for a living room, bedroom, office, or apartment, though the listing does not give a separate sleep-surface size.

Technical details

This is a boneless, tri-fold convertible sofa bed in a grayish green corduroy fabric. The listed dimensions are 57.09 x 31.5 x 27.95 inches. Inside, high-resilience foam is designed to provide firm support whether you are sitting or lying down, the raised backrest and seat cushion shape the sofa configuration. The seller also describes the fabric as soft, non-slip, wrinkle-resistant, and suited to daily use. Those are product claims rather than independent performance measurements, so buyers looking for a particular fabric weight or foam density will not find those details here.

The listing includes a 3-year Vivaflex warranty and purchase support. It does not specify a weight capacity or give a separate mattress thickness, so those details should not be assumed when comparing it with a conventional sofa bed.

Everyday compatibility

The fold-out format makes sense when one room needs to serve more than one purpose: keep it folded for everyday seating, then open it up for lounging or an occasional place to lie down. For example, in a small apartment, it could sit against a wall as a compact couch during the day and unfold for a movie night. That is a different approach from buying a full-size sofa bed with a dedicated mattress, this model focuses on a simpler tri-fold form, while shoppers who need a clearly specified overnight sleep surface may prefer an option with those measurements provided.

It suits you if you want a convertible seat in a living room, bedroom, or office and prefer corduroy over a smooth upholstery finish. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed mattress dimensions or a stated weight limit before deciding.

Usage tips

The sofa arrives compressed. Vivaflex says to leave it standing for 48–72 hours after opening, so plan for that recovery period rather than expecting its finished shape immediately. Give it enough open floor space to unfold before using it as a bed, and keep the listed overall dimensions in mind when choosing where it will sit. From the way it is set up, it is best treated as flexible seating and lounging rather than a replacement for a dedicated mattress unless its unfolded surface suits your needs.

Before you decide

How does it change from sofa to bed? The tri-fold design unfolds into a sofa-bed configuration, the listing describes the conversion as easy to operate.

How long should it sit after unboxing? The seller recommends leaving the compressed sofa standing for 48–72 hours after opening.

What are the upholstery and filling? It has corduroy upholstery and high-resilience foam filling, with a firm-support design for sitting or lying down.

Should you buy it?

This is worth considering if you need one piece of furniture to cover casual seating and occasional lounging, and the listed dimensions work for your room. The raised backrest, corduroy cover, and fold-out format give it a more sofa-like everyday role than a basic floor cushion. The trade-off is that the available details do not establish a separate mattress size, weight capacity, or foam density. Choose it for flexible use in a multipurpose space, look elsewhere if your decision depends on those specific sleep or load details.
