## Description

For gluten-free pancakes, cookies, or bread, Viva Naturals Organic Coconut Flour offers a finely sifted, grain-free alternative to wheat and all-purpose flour. Its mildly sweet, rich coconut flavor suits both sweet and savory recipes, while its 4 lbs (1.81 kg) size gives home bakers a generous supply for regular cooking and baking.

The flour is unbleached and unrefined, made from organic coconuts grown and harvested in the Philippines. Use it in keto, paleo, and vegan baking, or add it to other recipes that call for coconut flour.

## How to use it

This flour works as a substitute in recipes for baked goods and other dishes. For a recipe calling for 1 cup of wheat or all-purpose flour, the manufacturer’s suggested substitution is ¼ cup of coconut flour plus 1 egg or an egg substitute. That guidance makes it easier to adapt familiar recipes while accounting for the different amount of flour used. Try it in pancakes, cookies, gluten-free bread, or savory recipes where a mild coconut flavor fits.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The fine, sifted texture is suited to mixing into batters and doughs, and the mildly sweet flavor can complement a range of ingredients. Buyers commonly praise the smooth consistency and aroma, and mention using it for pancakes and other baked goods. They also value having a versatile flour for gluten-free and low-carb recipes. These impressions reflect customer feedback, while your recipe and ingredients will shape the finished result.

## Key features

This is an organic coconut flour described as a good source of fiber and low in fat and sodium. It is unbleached, unrefined, gluten-free, and Non-GMO Project Verified, the product is also USDA Organic and Kosher. Its plant-based profile makes it suitable for vegan cooking, and it can be used in recipes aligned with keto and paleo eating. Compared with choosing a conventional grain flour, this gives cooks a coconut-based option for grain-free and gluten-free baking. The 4 lbs (1.81 kg) package is useful for households that bake with coconut flour across multiple recipes, rather than only needing a small amount for a single dish.

## Practical questions

**How should I substitute it for all-purpose flour?** For each 1 cup of wheat or all-purpose flour, the suggested amount is ¼ cup of coconut flour plus 1 egg or an egg substitute.

**Is it suitable for vegan recipes?** Yes. The flour is plant-based, and the suggested substitution allows an egg substitute for vegan baking.

**What recipes can I make with it?** It can be used in gluten-free bread, cookies, pancakes, sweet or savory recipes, and other coconut flour baking.

## Buying verdict

Choose this flour when you want an organic, finely sifted coconut option for gluten-free, grain-free, or low-carb cooking. Its mild flavor, useful substitution guidance, and 4 lbs (1.81 kg) package make it a practical pantry staple for bakers who plan to use coconut flour in more than one kind of recipe.
