Vintage Floor Lamp, 62-Inch

An empty corner beside a sofa or reading chair can use a lamp that adds both light and a finished look. This 62-inch vintage floor lamp pairs a cream finish and carved, bamboo-style resin pole with a linen shade, bringing a farmhouse-inspired accent to living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices. Its included LED bulb switches among three color temperatures through a rotary switch, so you can choose warmer light to unwind or a cooler setting for reading and everyday tasks. The tradeoff: the listing gives no brightness measurement, so the color settings alone don’t tell you how much task lighting it will provide.

Where it shines

The tall, slim profile is intended for corners and other spots where a table lamp may take up useful surface space. The linen shade softens the bulb’s light, which suits a reading nook, a quiet bedroom corner, or a living room where you want a gentler glow rather than a bare, exposed bulb. For example, you could place it beside an armchair and turn the rotary switch to warm white for evening reading, then use a cooler setting when you’re working nearby.

If you prioritize a decorative lamp with adjustable light color, this design covers both needs, if you prefer a focused beam for detailed work, a dedicated task lamp may be a better fit. The listing describes a wide, weighted base, but doesn’t provide its diameter, so it’s difficult to judge how much floor space it needs beside a tight walkway without that measurement.

Key points

The lamp stands 62 inches tall and has a resin pole shaped to resemble carved bamboo, it is not a natural-wood pole. A cream linen shade gives the design a softer, more traditional look. The included LED bulb is listed as 3000K warm white, 4500K neutral white, and 6500K daylight white, with the rotary switch used to change settings. The socket also accepts a standard E26 bulb, according to the product details.

Assembly involves screwing the pole sections together, and the listing says hardware and an instruction manual are included. That’s useful if you want a floor lamp without a more involved setup, though the available details don’t specify its assembled base dimensions or provide a light-output rating. The weighted base is described as helping keep the lamp steady, but it shouldn’t be treated as a guarantee against tipping around pets, children, or busy foot traffic.

Best use cases

This lamp makes the most sense as an accent light for a living room, bedroom, entryway, or home office corner—especially when the room could use a warm vintage or farmhouse-style detail. The shade and adjustable color settings give it more flexibility than a basic single-setting decorative lamp. On the other hand, shoppers choosing lighting primarily for bright, precise work should look for a lamp with stated output and a more directed beam, those details aren’t provided here.

Should you buy it?

You’ll appreciate it if you want a tall, cream-colored floor lamp with a linen shade, a bamboo-inspired resin design, and three listed color temperatures in one fixture. It’s not for you if you need confirmed dimensions for a particularly narrow spot or dependable task-light specifications before choosing. As a decorative corner lamp with switchable color, its features are easy to understand, the main question is whether its unspecified light output and base size suit your room.
