vineyard vines Bikini Top, Sconset
Product description
Key specifications
Some bikini tops keep things simple, the vineyard vines Women’s Sconset Bikini Top adds crisscross straps and an adjustable back tie for a more adjustable feel. It also has removable cups, medium support, and UPF 50+ sun protection. Those details make it worth considering if you want a top with more than a basic fixed-strap design, though the listing doesn’t specify its fabric, coverage, or size range.
The Sconset name refers to a top based on the brand’s bestselling Sconset one-piece. The listed model is 5'10" and wears a size small, which gives a reference point for the product photos but isn’t a fit guarantee for other body types.
Who it’s for
This style may suit someone looking for adjustable back fastening, crisscross straps, and the option to remove the cups. For instance, you can tie the back and adjust the straps while getting ready, then take out the cups if you prefer the top without them. Medium support is the level stated in the listing, it doesn’t provide more detail about how that support feels during different activities.
It suits you if you value those specific design features and want UPF 50+ sun protection listed as part of the top. It might not be a great match if you need a particular fabric, precise coverage, or a clearly stated fit measurement, the listing doesn’t provide those details, so choosing a size without that measurement involves some uncertainty. If you’re comparing it with a simpler top, the Sconset’s adjustable tie and removable cups are the more distinctive features. A buyer who needs a specific construction or a more detailed fit description may prefer a product listing that spells those out.
Everyday use
The adjustable tie gives you a way to fasten the top at the back, while the crisscross straps define its look. UPF 50+ is a useful detail for sunny settings, but it applies to the garment, not uncovered skin, the listing doesn’t say how much coverage the top provides. The removable cups also give you a choice about whether to wear them, rather than making them a fixed part of the design.
No package contents are specified, so there’s no basis for assuming that the top comes with matching swimwear or accessories. It’s best to judge it as a standalone bikini top and check the available sizing and fit information before choosing.
Practical doubts
Are the cups removable? Yes. The listing says the top has removable cups.
Can you adjust the back? Yes. It has an adjustable tie at the back, along with crisscross straps.
What level of support is listed? Medium support. The product information doesn’t define that rating further, so it may not answer whether the top suits a particular activity.
Should you buy it?
The Sconset is worth considering if adjustable back fastening, crisscross straps, removable cups, and listed UPF 50+ protection line up with what you want from a bikini top. It offers a more configurable design than a basic fixed-strap option, but the available details leave practical questions about fabric, coverage, and fit unanswered. Choose it when its stated features are your priorities and the sizing information works for you, look for a more fully specified option if those missing details will determine your decision.
