## Description

The flexible gooseneck lets you adjust your phone’s position for a more suitable shooting angle, while the Victiv P18-86 extends up to 86 inches for elevated framing.

Use it as a phone tripod or selfie stick for selfies, group photos, video recording, vlogging, and video calls. Its 21-inch folded size and included carry bag make it practical to bring along for travel.

A phone remote, swiveling phone clip, and cold-shoe port add useful options for recording hands-free or setting up a light or microphone.

## At a glance
The P18-86 combines an aluminum tripod with a 13.78-inch flexible gooseneck. Its adjustable height ranges from 21 to 86 inches, so you can frame a close-up, record while standing, or position the phone for a group shot. The phone clip swivels 360 degrees to support portrait and landscape orientation, giving you a straightforward way to change framing between social video and wider scenes.

The included remote operates a compatible iPhone or Android phone from up to 33 feet away. That’s useful when you need to start a recording or take a photo without standing beside the tripod. For a recording setup with added accessories, the phone holder has a cold-shoe port for a light or microphone.

## How it fits
The adjustable holder accepts smartphones from 2.2 to 3.6 inches wide and is listed as compatible with iPhone and Android phones. A standard 1/4-inch screw also allows use with equipment such as a DSLR camera, compact camcorder, or webcam. Check that your device fits the holder or uses the screw connection before setting up your shot.

The two-in-one design suits people who want a stand for fixed recording as well as a selfie-stick format for handheld framing. For example, set it up for a hands-free video call, then use the extended height for a group photo while traveling. When the shoot is done, fold it to 21 inches and pack it in the included carry bag.

## Practical tips
Position the phone in portrait or landscape before recording, then bend the gooseneck to fine-tune the angle. For a video that needs added lighting or clearer audio, use the cold-shoe port to attach compatible accessories. The remote’s reach of up to 33 feet gives you room to step into the frame or operate the phone from a short distance.

Customer feedback often highlights easy setup and the stand’s usefulness for video creation. Opinions on sturdiness and durability are mixed: some users find it sturdy and flexible, while others report tipping, difficulty positioning the phone, or parts breaking. This feedback is worth bearing in mind when choosing a tall, adjustable stand, especially if you plan to use it at its greatest height.

## Should you buy it?
The Victiv P18-86 brings together an 86-inch maximum height, flexible angle adjustment, a remote, and a phone holder with a cold-shoe port. That combination is suited to hands-free phone recording, video calls, selfies, and travel content, with an option to mount other equipment that uses a 1/4-inch screw. Choose it for a portable setup that can shift between tripod and selfie-stick use and offers room to adjust your phone’s framing.
