## Description

For dog owners looking to add daily omega-3 support for skin and coat care, Vet Promise OM-250 combines salmon oil with EPA and DHA in soft chews. The formula also includes probiotics, making it a straightforward chew-format supplement for a daily routine.

Each container has 250 chews with a beef flavor. That familiar flavor and chew form offer a practical alternative to liquid fish oil for people who prefer a ready-to-serve supplement.

The product is intended to support skin and coat condition, joint comfort, and immune wellness. Its omega-3 ingredients make skin and coat care the central use, with additional daily wellness support.

## Best use cases

These chews are designed for dogs whose daily routine includes nutritional support for coat condition and skin comfort. Salmon oil, EPA, and DHA provide the product’s omega-3 focus, while probiotics are part of the formula. The manufacturer lists the chews for small, medium, and large breeds, so the format suits households caring for dogs of different sizes.

They can also suit owners who prefer a chew over adding liquid oil to food. For example, a dog can receive the supplement as a chew as part of its regular routine. The listed benefits include support for joint comfort and immune wellness alongside skin and coat condition.

## Pros

The soft-chew format keeps the routine simple for owners who would rather offer a chew than measure fish oil. A beef flavor gives the supplement a distinct taste profile, while 250 chews provide a multi-serving supply. The combination of salmon oil, EPA, and DHA directly supports its omega-3 purpose, and probiotics add another component to the formula. Codfish-free allergen information is also useful for owners comparing fish-oil supplements by source-related considerations.

Buyers commonly describe the chews as easy to give and say their dogs enjoy the taste. Some also report improvements in itching and coat appearance, including a shinier look, those are individual customer experiences, not a guaranteed result. Feedback about the scent is mixed, with some finding it appealing and others less satisfied.
