## Description

Chenille pile is designed to catch dirt and absorb moisture at the door, giving muddy paws a place to land before pets move farther indoors. The H.VERSAILTEX 2436NAVY mat measures 24" x 36" and has a textured rubber backing intended to help keep it from sliding on a dry floor. Its navy color and rectangular shape make it a practical fit for an entry area where you want a dedicated spot for paws and shoes.

It is machine washable, so routine care does not rely on spot cleaning alone.

## Fit and sizing

At 24" x 36" with a listed thickness of 1", this mat provides a defined landing area rather than covering a broad stretch of flooring. That size can work by an entry where a dog pauses after coming inside, or where household members want to wipe their shoes. Measure the available floor space and check that the mat can lie flat without obstructing the door. The product is listed for all breed sizes, but the mat itself remains the same footprint, larger dogs or households with multiple pets may need more room for several paws to land.

The low-pile design is described as helping prevent the mat from catching in a door. If you are choosing between a small entry mat and a larger floor covering, this format favors a specific paw-wiping zone over coverage across a whole hallway.

## Strengths

The chenille surface is intended to collect grit and take up moisture from paws and shoes, including common entryway debris such as sand, grass, rain, and slush. That makes it useful near a door used after walks or in wet weather, when you want to reduce the amount of dirt tracked farther into the home. It is also described as soft underfoot, which may be welcome on a cold floor.

A textured rubber backing is designed to resist shifting, while machine washing gives you a way to clean the mat after accumulated dirt. The care details also mention shaking off loose debris. For the backing to grip as intended, the floor beneath it should be completely dry, the product information cautions against placing it on a damp surface.

## When it makes sense

It suits you if you want a washable mat at an entry to catch some of the dirt and moisture pets or shoes bring inside, and the 24" x 36" footprint fits your available space. It offers a more focused alternative to a larger runner: place it where paws usually come in rather than covering an entire passage. You may want to skip it if your priority is a mat that covers a wide hallway or a larger area, since the listed dimensions provide a limited landing zone. For everyday entry use, its main appeal is the combination of chenille, a grippy backing, and machine-washable care in one compact rectangular mat.
