## Description

Made from 100% polyester, the Venustas-6000 is a fleece vest with a stand-up collar and six heating zones. The panels cover the chest, shoulders, back, and collar. Need warmth that can layer under a jacket? Its lightweight design is intended for wearing alone or as an insulating layer, with three heat settings to adjust as conditions change.

## Where it shines

This vest is designed for cold-weather outings and everyday situations such as walking, hiking, golf, commuting, or watching a game. The carbon-fiber heating elements add powered warmth across several areas of the upper body, while the sleeveless cut leaves your arms free to move. For someone who already wears a jacket outdoors, the vest can serve as a heated layer underneath rather than requiring a separate, bulkier outer garment.

The included 36Wh battery provides up to 3 hours on high, 6 hours on medium, or 10 hours on low. Those figures make the heat setting an important part of planning a longer day outside. Buyers commonly describe the vest as warm and comfortable under a jacket, though feedback on battery life and heating performance is mixed. Some also report inconsistent sizing and durability, so those points are worth weighing alongside the listed runtime.

## Key points

The three heat settings are controlled with a button, and the product details describe the heating elements as warming up in seconds. The battery has USB-A and USB-C ports for powering a phone or other smart device. It is listed as fully charging in 2.5 hours with a 20W charger, which is not included. The battery itself measures 3.1 × 2.6 × 1.0 inches and weighs 6.43 ounces.

The outer fabric is 100% polyester, with a lining of 97% nylon and 3% graphene nylon. You’ll appreciate it if you want a heated layer with a collar and coverage beyond the back alone. It might not be a great match if you need a predictable runtime regardless of heat setting: the published figures vary from 3 to 10 hours, and buyer reports on battery life are not uniform.

## How to take care of it

The vest is described as machine washable, but the available product details do not specify a cycle, water temperature, or how to handle the battery during washing. Follow the garment’s care label and the battery instructions for those steps instead of assuming a wash method. The package includes the vest and battery pack, a 20W charger is not included.

## Questions before you buy

**How long does the battery last?** The stated runtime is up to 3 hours on high, 6 hours on medium, and 10 hours on low. Actual buyer feedback on battery life varies.

**Can it be worn under a jacket?** The lightweight design is intended for layering, and buyers often describe wearing it comfortably beneath a jacket.

**Can the battery charge a phone?** Its USB-A and USB-C ports are listed for powering phones and other smart devices.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the Venustas-6000 if you want a fleece vest with six heating zones, adjustable heat, and a battery included for cold-weather layering. It offers a different approach from a basic non-heated vest by adding powered warmth across the chest, shoulders, back, and collar. If your plans depend on a specific runtime, factor in the selected heat level and the mixed reports about battery performance, the listed maximum applies to low, not high.
