Veken 12-Inch All-Metal Square Rain Shower Head with Handheld, Chrome
Product description
Choosing a shower upgrade can mean prioritizing broad overhead coverage or a handheld sprayer for directed rinsing. The Veken combines both: a 12-inch square rainfall head for a wider shower area and a handheld sprayer that can also be used separately or at the same time.
Its adjustable slide bar, extension arm, and 60-inch hose give the setup flexibility for different shower positions and cleanup tasks. That makes it relevant not just for everyday showers, but also for rinsing a tub or bathing a pet.
Best use cases
The large overhead head is designed for a more expansive rainfall-style shower, while the handheld unit offers a more targeted stream for rinsing. Use the two outlets independently or together, depending on the task. For example, the handheld’s built-in power jet can help direct water toward soap scum or tight corners around a tub and tile, the hose provides reach for those areas without relying on the overhead spray.
The 13-inch adjustable slide bar and 15-inch metal extension arm let you change the handheld’s position and adjust the overhead head’s placement. The listing also identifies seated showering, use by seniors, and pet bathing as intended scenarios. A solid pick if you want both a fixed rainfall head and a movable sprayer in one setup rather than a single-outlet showerhead.

What you’ll notice day to day
The main practical difference from a basic fixed showerhead is the choice between overhead coverage and a handheld spray, with the option to run both together. Easy-clean nozzles are intended to make routine buildup easier to wipe away. The polished, contemporary design is also meant to give the shower area a more modern look.
Buyer feedback is not uniformly positive on performance or longevity. Some customers like the appearance, adjustability, and water pressure, while others describe inconsistent pressure or water escaping from the side. Reports about dripping after shutoff also vary. Durability concerns appear in feedback as well, including accounts of attachments breaking or the head splitting. These are customer-reported experiences, not a guaranteed outcome, but they matter if long-term reliability is your main deciding factor. It may not suit you if you want a product with consistently positive durability feedback.
Practical questions
Can the overhead and handheld sprays run separately? The product description says they can be used separately or together, so you can choose the overhead head, the handheld, or both.
What helps with reaching the tub or tile? The handheld sprayer has a built-in power jet, and the 60-inch hose provides reach for rinsing corners and cleaning around the tub.
What comes in the installation kit? It includes the showerheads, extension arm, slide bar, stainless steel hose, plumber’s tape, spare washers, and a wrench. The listing describes a five-step DIY installation, but does not provide further installation or plumbing details.
Final verdict
This Veken setup makes the most sense when a broad rainfall head and a movable handheld are both useful in your routine. The included adjustment hardware and cleaning-focused sprayer add practical flexibility beyond a basic fixed head. Customer feedback on pressure and durability is mixed, so if you prioritize those factors, weigh the reported issues alongside the product’s combination of spray options and reach before choosing.
