Veeloim Stone Bath Mat 23.6" Diatomaceous Earth
Product description
This diatomaceous earth bath mat offers fast drying and high absorption for bathrooms where moisture control matters, combining a natural stone surface with a non-slip backing to keep floors dry and reduce odors after showers. Its 23.6 by 15.4 inch size fits standard shower exits and small bathrooms, and the minimalist white finish blends with contemporary décor while serving other household drying needs.
Key Points
The mat absorbs water quickly and evaporates moisture to help prevent dampness and mildew, according to the manufacturer. A textured top surface increases grip for feet, while a separate rubber anti-slip pad provides an extra layer of stability under the mat. Made from diatomaceous earth, the product is presented as more durable than typical fabric mats and useful across rooms such as the kitchen, entryway, or by pet bowls. For tougher marks, the package includes sandpaper to restore surface appearance.

Usage Recommendations
Place the rubber anti-slip mat beneath the stone mat to maximize floor protection and prevent shifting on smooth surfaces. Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse under water for routine cleaning, and use gentle rubbing with the included sandpaper for persistent stains. Consider that the rigid stone surface is less cushioned than fabric mats so standing for long periods may be less comfortable.
Positive Aspects
The natural stone composition promotes fast drying and odor reduction, which can be especially helpful in humid bathrooms where fabric mats retain moisture. The clean, minimalist look adapts well to modern interiors, and the mat’s multiroom uses add versatility beyond shower areas. Note that, according to the manufacturer, while durable, the mat should be handled with care to avoid dropping or chipping on hard floors.
