Vediya VE28 88-Key Digital Piano with Semi-Weighted Keys and 600 Tones

For beginners who want a full-size keyboard and a ready-to-use home practice setup, the Vediya VE28 brings 88 semi-weighted keys together with a four-leg stand and useful playing tools. Its keys respond to playing strength, so notes can sound softer or stronger as you practice scales, chords, and two-hand parts.

It also offers a broad range of sounds and rhythms for exploring music beyond piano practice.

How to use it

Set the keyboard on its four-leg stand, use the leveling feet to help steady it on slightly uneven floors, and place sheet music on the music stand. The included sustain pedal adds another control for expressive playing. Key stickers can help beginners identify notes while learning the keyboard layout, remove or keep them as your practice develops.

For focused practice, use the metronome to work on timing, or try the split and layered sound functions to explore different ways of playing. Recording and playback let you revisit a performance, while transpose can shift the pitch to suit a practice session. The keyboard also supports USB-MIDI connections to compatible phones, tablets, and computers for lessons, recording, editing, and music-making apps. Bluetooth audio provides another way to connect for audio use.

Where it shines

The VE28 suits a home music corner where one keyboard needs to support both structured practice and casual playing. Its full-size 88-key layout gives learners room to work on scales, chords, and two-hand pieces, while the semi-weighted action offers a lighter touch and quicker key return than fully weighted keys. That can make the keyboard approachable for new players who want expressive control as they build finger technique.

The range of tones and rhythms gives practice sessions room to change direction: use a piano sound for fundamentals, then explore accompaniment or layered sounds when arranging ideas. What if practice also involved recording and reviewing a passage? The built-in recording and playback functions make that possible without limiting the keyboard to a single sound or exercise. For app-based lessons or creating music on a compatible device, USB-MIDI extends the setup beyond its built-in features.

Compared with choosing a bare keyboard and sourcing a stand and practice accessories separately, this set brings the main playing setup and several learning aids together. It’s a great fit if you want a full-size instrument for home practice, lessons, and everyday exploration, with varied sounds and tools to support more than one style of playing.

Before you decide

How many sounds and rhythms does the VE28 offer? It has 600 tones and 800 rhythms, along with 80 demo songs. These options support piano practice as well as experimenting with accompaniment and different sounds.

What comes with the piano? The set includes a four-leg stand, sustain pedal, music stand, music clips, piano cover, key stickers, adapter, and manual, giving you several practical accessories for setting up and practicing at home.

Can it connect to learning or recording apps? Yes. USB-MIDI can connect the keyboard to compatible phones, tablets, or computers for supported lessons, recording, editing, and music-creation apps. POP Piano and Perfect Piano are listed as supported software.
