VanSmaGo SE369 Outdoor Laser Projector, RGB Firefly Effects, Remote, IP65

If you want a defined outline along a roof or doorway, a fixed arrangement of lights may suit that look. For a moving, scattered effect across trees, walls, or windows, the VanSmaGo SE369 projects colorful firefly-style patterns instead.

Its RGB light source combines red, green, and blue to create seven laser colors. Choose moving or static effects, adjust movement speed, and select settings with the included remote.

The projector is designed for indoor and outdoor holiday decorating, with an IP65 waterproof rating and a corded electric power source. Use it to add a festive glow to a garden, home exterior, or indoor gathering space.

Worth noting

The moving firefly effect is the defining feature: projected points of light shift across a surface rather than forming a fixed decorative outline. That makes the SE369 useful when you want a tree or wall to become the focal point of a seasonal display. For a practical setup, position the projector toward the surface you want to illuminate, then use the remote to choose a color, set a static or moving mode, and adjust the speed.

The remote also offers an automatic cycle timer from one to six hours. Its default setting is a six-hour cycle, followed by an 18-hour off period before the cycle repeats. The light needs to remain powered on for the timer cycle to operate. The cord is 16.4 feet long, which helps when planning placement in relation to an outdoor power source. The listed projection coverage is up to 3,200 square feet from a distance of 32.8 feet.

Buyer feedback often highlights the firefly-like appearance and ease of setup. Comments on color consistency are mixed, and some purchasers report that the stake can break or that settings are not retained. These are useful points to bear in mind when choosing how to position and operate the projector.

Size & fit

The round projector measures 3 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 inches high and weighs 10.72 ounces. Its ABS housing has a painted finish. The package includes a ground stake, and the projector can be installed on the ground or mounted on a wall, giving you options for directing the light toward trees, windows, or other surfaces.

For outdoor placement, aim the projector at the intended display area and keep its corded power connection in reach. The IP65 rating suits outdoor decorative use in conditions such as rain, snow, and dust, as described for this model. Indoors, it can project onto walls or windows for a holiday setting without arranging lights across each branch or surface.

Everyday use

Use the color selection and movement controls to shape the display around the occasion: a moving effect can bring a tree or garden into focus, while a static setting creates a steadier pattern on a wall or window. Speed adjustment gives you another way to tailor the motion, and the remote lets you make these changes without repositioning the projector itself.

The SE369 is a corded choice for someone who wants a projected light show rather than individually placed points of decoration. If the goal is a precise line around an edge, another decorating approach may be a closer match, for a broader firefly-style effect across a chosen surface, projection is the useful distinction here.

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want RGB firefly effects, remote control, and a timer in one outdoor-capable decorative projector. Its moving and static modes suit both a lively garden display and a calmer indoor holiday scene, while the stake and wall-mount option give you practical ways to direct the pattern. Choose the SE369 for a color-changing projection that turns trees, walls, and windows into the center of your seasonal décor.
