Uwant Carpet Cleaner Y100

When a spill lands on the sofa, a pet mess reaches the carpet, or stair treads need attention, a portable cleaner can be easier to handle than bringing out a full-size carpet machine. The Uwant Y100 combines steam, hot-water, and cold-water cleaning with 18KPa suction for carpets and upholstery. Its seven included tools are aimed at different surfaces and messes, so the main appeal is flexibility around the home rather than one specialized cleaning task.

What to know

The three modes give you a choice based on the job: steam at 212°F for stubborn stains, hot water at 149°F for pet messes and deeper cleaning, and cold water for everyday stains. The listed temperature settings describe the modes, but the product details do not specify how much water the tanks hold or how long a cleaning session lasts. That makes it difficult to judge how often you might need to refill during a larger job.

Uwant lists 18KPa suction and says it is about 50% stronger than 15KPa models. The package also includes a pet-specific cleaning solution with a spray bottle, the maker claims the solution improves cleaning efficiency by 60% versus regular solutions. Treat those percentages as the maker’s comparisons, not a guarantee for every stain or surface. The dual water-tank design combines the clean- and waste-water tanks into one unit, which is intended to make handling them more convenient.

Best use cases

This setup makes sense for households that want one portable machine for more than carpet: sofas, cushions, stairs, car seats, and pet areas are all listed uses. For example, you could select a mode for a spot on a cushion, work the area with an appropriate brush, then use the suction to lift dirty water. Seven tools include high-density, silicone, and velvet brushes, along with dedicated steam tools, though the product information does not map every brush to a specific surface.

It suits you if you want several cleaning modes and tools in one machine for occasional messes across different upholstery and carpeted areas. A simpler cold-water spot cleaner may be enough for routine spills, the Y100’s extra modes are more relevant if steam or hot-water cleaning is part of your plan. Not the best choice if you need confirmed tank capacity, session runtime, or a clear surface-by-surface tool guide before buying.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose the mode that matches the stain and surface rather than defaulting to steam for every job. Use the included spray bottle to apply the pet solution directly to a stain as described, then select a suitable tool for the area. Keep in mind that steam and hot water are not automatically right for every upholstery material, and the listing does not provide a fabric compatibility chart, check the care guidance for the item you plan to clean first.

The combined tank design is intended to let you handle clean and waste water together, but it does not remove the need to empty and refill the machine as needed. For small jobs such as one stair or a cushion, portability and the range of attachments may be more useful than a larger machine built around cleaning broad carpeted floors.

Practical doubts

Can it clean without steam? Yes. The listed modes also include hot-water and cold-water cleaning.

Is a cleaning solution included? The product description says it includes a pet-specific solution and a spray bottle.

Can it be used on car seats? Car seats are among the listed applications, but no specific upholstery compatibility details are provided.

Should you buy it?

The Y100 is worth considering if you want a portable cleaner for varied household spots and value having steam, hot water, cold water, and multiple tools in one kit. Its strongest case is tackling different kinds of mess across carpets and upholstery without relying on a single cleaning mode. If your priority is a large-area carpet cleaner, or you need detailed capacity and runtime information to plan longer sessions, the listing leaves important questions unanswered.
