Urtala Ur058-db120l 120L Foldable Duffel Bag with Shoe Compartment

At 120 liters, the Urtala Ur058-db120l is a foldable duffel built for trips when a small overnight bag will not hold enough. Its 600D polyester body expands to 34 x 14 x 16 inches and folds down to 14 x 10 x 3 inches, so it can serve as a roomy travel bag or a compact spare to pack for the return trip.

A separate shoe compartment, luggage sleeve, and adjustable shoulder strap make it more organized to carry than a basic open-top duffel.

Key points

The main appeal is capacity without the bulk of keeping a full-size suitcase on hand all the time. The bag folds into itself for storage, then opens up for clothing, shoes, and other trip essentials. A side compartment with ventilation is intended for shoes or laundry, keeping those items apart from the main packing area. The listing describes the fabric as water-repellent and wear-resistant, that is useful for everyday travel handling, but it should not be treated as a guarantee against soaking rain.

For moving through an airport or station with a rolling suitcase, the back zipper pocket works as a sleeve over a telescoping handle. The removable, adjustable shoulder strap offers another carrying method, while padded handles and side straps give additional ways to lift or carry the bag. Buyers often praise its large capacity and foldability, with some describing it as useful for holiday trips or packing substantial clothing. Feedback on the zippers is mixed: some buyers find them sturdy, while others report breakage during transit, so avoid overloading or forcing a stuck zipper.

How it fits

This format suits a road trip, weekend away, gym session, or extra-bag role when you need flexible space more than a rigid shell. For example, it can carry clothes in the main compartment and keep worn shoes or laundry in the ventilated side section. When packed alongside rolling luggage, the sleeve provides a way to secure it over the suitcase handle.

Compared with a structured suitcase, a soft duffel is easier to fold and store when empty, while a suitcase offers a defined shape for packing. A solid pick if you want one large bag that can be stowed between trips and opened when extra capacity is useful. Although it is described for carry-on use, its expanded dimensions are 34 x 14 x 16 inches, check the requirements for your specific airline rather than assuming those measurements qualify.

Usage tips

Use the shoe compartment for footwear or separated laundry, and keep the main section for clean clothes and other belongings. The luggage sleeve is designed for a suitcase’s telescoping handle, which can help keep the duffel in place while moving with rolling luggage. For heavier loads, the adjustable, removable shoulder strap lets you change how you carry it, the side straps are also described as a two-person carry option.

Because the bag is soft-sided, how it sits will depend on what is packed inside. Distribute the contents before lifting, and close the zipper without forcing it if the bag is full. If airline carry-on dimensions matter for your trip, compare the expanded measurements with that carrier’s rules before packing.

Should you buy it?

The Ur058-db120l makes sense if your priority is generous capacity in a bag that folds down for storage, with a separate shoe or laundry compartment and a sleeve for suitcase travel. It offers a different approach from buying another rigid suitcase: flexible space that can also be kept as a spare. Better avoided if you need a structured case or require confirmed carry-on compliance for a particular airline. The mixed zipper feedback is also worth weighing if the bag will routinely be packed heavily or handled roughly in transit.
