## Description

The pre-cut contour gives these acrylic scales a useful starting shape, so you can focus on engraving, carving, and finishing rather than beginning with unshaped stock.

Each set includes a pair of lightweight, reusable blanks with an Aurora/Peach Pink gradient. The pattern shifts in appearance under different lighting angles, adding visual detail to custom projects.

Use them to personalize knife handles, gun grips, or decorative guitar bodies and necks. Choose these pre-cut scales when a shaped blank helps move a hands-on project forward, choose raw material when you want to begin with a fully unshaped piece.

## Getting the most from it

The acrylic is designed for DIY customization: carve and polish the symmetrical scales to develop a finished look that suits your project. Engraving can bring out the gradient pattern and add decorative detail to knife handles, daggers, Damascus knives, tactical knives, and gun grips. The same colorful finish can also be used on decorative guitar bodies and necks.

For a practical project, position the pair on a handle or grip design, then shape and polish them to suit the intended form. Their pre-cut contours provide a starting point for machining, while the rectangular plate shape leaves room for personalization. The lightweight, durable acrylic is also described as waterproof, making these scales a versatile material for decorative and functional handle projects.
