Uniwork CE278A 78A Black Toner Cartridges, 2-Pack for HP LaserJet Pro
Product description
For owners of compatible HP LaserJet Pro printers, the Uniwork CE278A 78A two-pack offers replacement black toner for models including the P1566, P1606, and M1536 series.
A two-cartridge pack suits people who want another replacement ready after the first runs out. If you only need one cartridge now, a single-cartridge option may better match that need.
The listing gives a yield of 2,100 pages per cartridge, based on Letter paper at 5% coverage. Actual results depend on how much toner each page uses.

The main buying question is whether your exact printer is on the compatibility list, not simply whether it is an HP LaserJet. The listing names several P-series and M-series models, but it does not claim compatibility with every printer in those families. Buyers report mixed compatibility, including accounts of cartridges not working with some HP printers. It’s sensible to match the full printer model before choosing this replacement.
Everyday use
This is a practical format for routine black-and-white printing, such as documents at home or in a small office, provided the printer is one of the listed models. The stated yield can help with planning, but it is calculated at 5% page coverage, pages with heavier printing may use toner differently. The product description says the cartridges are intended to produce sharp black prints, but that is a product claim rather than a guarantee of the results you will get.
Buyer feedback is favorable about ease of installation and general operation, with some saying the cartridges perform comparably to name-brand alternatives. Print results are less consistent in the reports: some buyers describe clear, dark output, while others mention streaking, uneven printing, or toner leakage. Those mixed experiences matter if you need consistently uniform output for important documents. If you prioritize a more predictable match, check the printer model carefully and consider how much variation in print results you can accept.
It’s a great fit if you need two compatible black cartridges for a listed LaserJet Pro and want a stated yield for each one. You may want to skip it if your printer model is not listed or if inconsistent compatibility or print quality would disrupt your intended use.
Box contents
The package includes two black 78A CE278A toner cartridges. That gives you a spare for a later replacement, rather than just the cartridge needed for an immediate change. The listing does not specify additional accessories or installation materials, so the stated contents are limited to the two cartridges.
