## Description

For everyday notes, journaling, or signatures, the Uni-Ball 207 PLUS+ set offers black gel ink in a retractable pen with a 0.7 mm medium point. The pack includes 12 pens, each with a soft comfort grip and metal clip, so they can be kept at a desk or carried for writing on the go.

The main distinction is its faster-drying, smear-resistant ink and uni Super Ink Plus+ formula, which is designed to bond with paper and help protect against water, fading, check washing, and document alteration. Those are protective aims, not a guarantee against every form of damage.

## What to know

These are medium-point gel pens for general writing, rather than fine-point tools for very small lettering. The 0.7 mm tip is intended to produce clear, readable lines for notes, office paperwork, journaling, and everyday writing. The black ink is water-based, and the product description says it can write on glossy paper as well as ordinary writing surfaces. A soft grip adds a more cushioned hold, while the retractable design and metal clip make the pens practical to keep within reach.

Buyer feedback is favorable about smooth writing and resistance to smearing, with journaling and note-taking among the uses people mention. Experiences are less consistent around ink flow and reliability: some buyers report dependable writing, while others describe skipping or ink stopping. Durability feedback is also mixed. That variation is worth weighing if you need every pen in a multi-pack to perform consistently for important documents.

Compared with choosing a basic ballpoint, this set is specifically a gel-ink option with a medium point and a stated faster-drying formula. A solid pick if you want retractable black pens for regular writing and value the comfort grip and paper-bonding ink claims. Not the best choice if your priority is an especially fine line, since the listed point is 0.7 mm.

## Practical tips

Retract the tip when the pen is not in use, and use the metal clip to keep it accessible in a notebook or pocket. For a practical first check, write a few lines on the paper you use most often, paper and writing habits can affect how ink feels and dries. The set is supplied as 12 black gel pens, so it suits a shared desk or a home and office supply where several pens are useful.

## Usage tips

Use the medium point for routine notes, journaling, and forms where legibility matters more than a very fine stroke. The manufacturer describes the ink as faster-drying and smear-resistant, including on glossy paper, but buyers report mixed experiences with flow. If you are making a time-sensitive signature or filling out an important document, test the pen on a similar sheet first rather than assuming every surface will behave the same way.

## Practical questions

**What is included in the pack?** The product details list 12 black retractable gel pens.

**What point size do these pens use?** They have a 0.7 mm medium point, suited to general writing and readable notes.

**Are they refillable?** The supplied details do not specify refill compatibility, so they do not establish whether these pens can be refilled.

## Final verdict

The Uni-Ball 207 PLUS+ 70462 is a straightforward choice for people who want a dozen retractable black gel pens with a medium point, comfort grip, and stated smear-resistant, faster-drying ink. Its paper-protection claims may appeal for signatures and everyday paperwork, but buyer reports of inconsistent ink flow and durability make it sensible to test one pen before relying on the full set for uninterrupted or high-stakes writing.
