Under Armour Men's Slides, Ignite Pro

For quick trips around the house or changing out of sneakers after a workout, slides keep footwear simple. The Under Armour Ignite Pro has a fixed band with rolled edges and soft foam lining, so the upper is designed to sit more comfortably across the foot.

Its footbed uses softer memory foam, while raised sidewalls and extra height are intended to add stability. Those details make it a more cushioned take on a basic slide, rather than a minimal, flat-footbed style.

The fit and feel still come down to personal preference. There are no sizing details here, so use your usual fit criteria rather than assuming the cushioning means a particular fit.

Technical details

The Ignite Pro uses a fixed strap with rolled edges and a soft foam lining. Underfoot, the updated memory foam footbed is described as softer, and the raised sidewalls and height are intended to improve stability and comfort. The outsole is durable EVA with a grooved pattern, according to the maker, those grooves are there to improve traction. The listed style number is 6010383.

That combination gives you more cushioning and a more shaped feel than a stripped-down slide. It does not establish how the shoe will perform on every surface, though, and the product details do not give measurements or a specific fit profile. If a secure, adjustable closure or a closed toe matters to you, this design may not meet that need.

Getting the most from it

Think of these as easy-on footwear for casual, short-distance use: for example, keeping a pair by the door to wear around the house, then switching back into sneakers when you need more coverage. The fixed band keeps the design straightforward, while the foam footbed provides the main comfort feature.

It makes sense if you want cushioning in a slide and prefer a band with a soft lining over a very basic strap. Compared with a flat, minimal slide, the Ignite Pro puts more emphasis on a cushioned footbed and raised sides. A more structured shoe is the better direction for shoppers who need enclosed coverage or a closure they can adjust.

Usage tips

When comparing sizes, use the sizing information available from the seller or brand, none is included in the supplied product details. Also consider how the fixed band sits on your foot, since there is no listed adjustment mechanism. For everyday wear, the grooved EVA outsole is a practical design detail, but the description does not specify traction performance on wet or slippery surfaces. Treat that as an unknown rather than assuming the grooves make it suitable for every condition.

Questions before you buy

Is the strap adjustable? The product is described as having a fixed band. No adjustment feature is listed, so shoppers who need a customizable closure should look for that detail in another style.

What is the outsole made of? It is EVA and has a grooved pattern. The description gives no additional information about its performance on particular surfaces.

Are sizing or fit details provided? No. The supplied information does not include a size chart, width, or fit guidance, so check those details before choosing a size.

Should you buy it?

Not the best choice if you need a closed-toe shoe, an adjustable strap, or confirmed guidance on fit and surface grip. The appeal here is more specific: a fixed, foam-lined band paired with a softer memory foam footbed and raised sides. Choose the Ignite Pro if those comfort-oriented details match what you want from a casual slide, pass if your decision depends on sizing information or performance claims that are not provided.
