## Description

For anyone who wants to add leg movement to time spent seated at a desk or on the couch, the UMAY U5 offers an electric under-desk elliptical with automatic and manual modes. Its compact 15" x 15" footprint fits beside a chair or beneath many desks, while the remote lets you adjust settings without reaching down to the machine.

Choose a preset routine or set the motion yourself, then follow workout information on the LCD display. The U5 is designed for seated use, remain seated while operating it.

## Practical tips
Use the U5 while seated, with your feet placed securely on its contoured, textured pedals. Manual mode gives you control over speed and forward or reverse motion, automatic mode cycles through 12 preset programs with changing speed and direction. The remote provides access to settings from your seat, and the LCD keeps workout measures visible as you pedal. The machine is not intended for use while standing. The product information also advises against use by people with a pacemaker.

The corded electric design suits a dedicated spot near a desk, chair, or couch. Its 15" x 15" base and 9" height make it a compact alternative to a full-size elliptical when the goal is seated leg movement rather than standing exercise. A quiet-drive system is specified at under 15 dB, which can be useful in shared home or office spaces. The included mat and foot straps support setup and foot placement.

## Best use cases
The U5 is intended for gentle movement during seated activities such as reading, watching TV, or working at a desk. Switching between automatic programs and manual control offers a choice between a preset cycling pattern and self-directed speed and direction. That makes it useful for people who prefer to adjust their routine from the chair rather than step onto a standing machine.

Customer feedback often highlights ease of operation, quiet use, and the value of having a way to keep the legs moving while seated. Comfort and positioning receive mixed reactions, so the contoured pedals and adjustable foot placement are practical considerations when deciding how to use it.

## What to clarify
**What information does the display show?** It tracks time, distance, count, and calories burned, giving you several measures to follow during a session.

**How do the two modes differ?** Automatic mode offers 12 preset programs with varying speed and direction. Manual mode lets you control speed and choose forward or reverse movement.

**Can it be used while standing?** No. It is designed for use while seated, so stay seated during operation.

## Buying verdict
The UMAY U5 is a practical fit for adding pedal movement to a seated routine at home or in an office. Its compact footprint, remote control, LCD tracking, and choice of preset or manual operation make it especially useful when a full-size standing elliptical is not the format you need.
