## Description

A 360° ball head and a two-in-one phone clip give the ULANZI MT-44 flexibility for framing phone or camera shots. Adjust the angle for horizontal or vertical shooting, then secure the head in position with its locking knob.

The telescoping stand extends up to 59 inches with the phone holder attached and folds to 13 inches for storage. Use it as a tripod for a fixed setup or as a selfie stick and handle grip when filming on the move.

A cold shoe lets you add compatible accessories such as a microphone or LED light, while the 1/4-inch screw supports cameras and other devices with a matching mount.

## Key features

The integrated clip opens to fit phones 60–80 mm wide. Gather the holder to use the 1/4-inch screw mount for a camera, making this a practical choice for creators who want one support for more than a phone-only setup. The ball head rotates 360° and supports horizontal or vertical framing, so you can adjust composition without changing the position of the tripod itself.

For a simple vlog setup, place the tripod for a hands-free shot, set the angle, and attach a microphone or light to the cold shoe if needed. Its stated maximum load is 1.5 kg. The design also works as a handheld grip, offering another way to frame clips when a fixed stand is not the right fit.

Buyer feedback often highlights the tripod’s portability and versatility. Opinions on stability and adjustment are mixed: some customers find the angle easy to set, while others report that the stand may slide down when mounted. Tightening the ball-head knob secures the chosen angle.

## Size & fit

The stand extends from 13 inches to 59 inches with the phone holder attached, and its folded size is 13 inches. The adjustable phone clip accommodates devices 60–80 mm wide. For camera use, the 1/4-inch screw provides a standard mounting connection, check that your device uses this connection and keep the total setup within the 1.5 kg load limit.

## Who it’s for

This tripod suits phone users who want to switch between tabletop or hands-free framing and handheld selfie-stick use, as well as creators who also use a camera with a 1/4-inch mount. The cold shoe is useful when a shoot calls for an add-on microphone or LED light, and the rotating ball head helps when a project needs both portrait and landscape framing. Its compact folded length is convenient for carrying in a bag between filming locations.

It suits you if you want a single stand that can hold a phone or a compatible camera rather than choosing a phone-only support. What kind of shot are you setting up? The adjustable height, rotatable head, and accessory mount give you several ways to configure a basic filming setup.

## Final verdict

The ULANZI MT-44 brings phone and camera mounting, adjustable framing, and accessory expansion into one portable stand. It’s a useful fit for vlogging, selfies, and everyday photo or video setups where changing between a fixed tripod and handheld use matters.
