## Description

## Quick overview

With an extendable height from 13" to 59", the ULANZI MT-44 combines a phone tripod and selfie stick in one telescoping setup. Its aluminum construction and 360° ball head make it useful for framing both portrait and landscape shots, whether you’re recording a vlog, taking a group photo, or setting up a camera for a fixed shot.

The tripod legs pop open in about one second when you tap their bottom against the ground. That quick setup is handy when a moment is brief or you want to get your phone positioned without pulling the legs open one by one.

## Quick sizing guide

The MT-44 adjusts from 13" to 59", so you can choose a lower position for close-up or low-angle footage and extend it for standing-height recording or group selfies. Its seven-section telescoping design lets you set the height to suit the scene. Twist locks hold the sections in place as you adjust the stand.

The phone clip expands from 60 mm to 80 mm. For camera setups, a standard 1/4" screw provides another mounting option, with a stated weight limit of 1.5 kg. Check that your device and any attached accessories are within that limit before mounting. The included cold shoe offers a place to attach a compatible light or microphone, making it easier to build a compact recording setup around the tripod.

## How to use it

Tap the bottom of the tripod legs against the ground to open them, then extend the sections to your preferred height and lock them with the twist-lock system. Place a compatible phone in the adjustable clip, or use the 1/4" screw to mount a camera. The phone clip and screw provide two ways to set up, so you can move between phone and camera recording without changing to a different stand.

Use the 360° ball head to adjust the shooting angle and switch between portrait and landscape framing. Tighten its locking knob once the device is positioned. For a vlog, the cold shoe can hold a compatible external LED light or shotgun microphone, for a quick group picture, extend the stand, frame the shot, and leave the phone in place. The tripod is listed as compatible with phones, cameras, and devices including the iPhone 17, Osmo Pocket 3, and Insta360 X5. Confirm that your specific device fits the clip or mounting connection you plan to use.

## Should you buy it?

The MT-44 is a practical choice if you want one extendable stand for phone content and camera setups rather than a stand built around only one mounting style. Its quick-opening legs help with spontaneous recording, while the ball head supports flexible framing and the cold shoe gives vloggers a way to attach compatible audio or lighting gear. Choose it for phone videos, group photos, or camera recording when adjustable height and a choice of mounting options are useful in a single tripod.
