UIQUR Women's Packable Rain Jacket, Waterproof Polyester with Adjustable Hood
Product description
Made from 100% polyester, the UIQUR women's rain jacket is designed to be lightweight and packable, with a portable storage bag included. Its adjustable hood, elastic cuffs, and two side pockets add practical details for outdoor activities and travel.
It is described as waterproof and windproof, but no waterproof rating or insulation details are provided. That makes it easier to judge as a packable rain layer than as a warm jacket for cold conditions.
Key takeaways
The main appeal is portability: this jacket is intended to be carried along for cycling, running, hiking, fishing, golf, or travel, then worn when rain or wind is a concern. The adjustable hood and elastic cuffs are meant to help close off openings, while the two side pockets provide space for small items such as a phone or keys.
Buyer feedback generally highlights the light feel, comfort, and usefulness for travel, with some customers also saying it handles rain well. Opinions on thickness are mixed, though, some find it suitable, while others describe it as very thin. If you need warmth as well as rain coverage, the supplied details do not indicate that this jacket is insulated.
Fit and sizing
The manufacturer advises checking the size chart and choosing a size based on your usual clothing habits. Buyer feedback on fit is mixed: some say the jacket fits as expected, while others report that it runs small. If you plan to wear it over other clothing, factor that into your size choice rather than assuming there will be extra room.
Worth considering if you want a lightweight layer that can be packed for varied outdoor plans. You may want to skip it if you specifically need a thicker-feeling jacket or insulation, since neither is established in the product details and some buyers find the fabric thin.
Tips for day-to-day use
The storage bag makes it practical to keep the jacket with travel or outdoor gear, rather than relying on a rain layer that stays at home until needed. For a bike ride, walk, or golf outing with unsettled weather, the hood and elastic cuffs offer adjustable coverage, and the pockets can hold small essentials. The description does not specify a waterproof rating, so it does not establish how the jacket performs in prolonged or particularly heavy rain.
Care instructions are specific: hand wash only, do not iron or bleach, and hang dry. Following those directions is also the stated way to help maintain the waterproof coating. This is a simpler-care choice only if hand washing and hanging it to dry work for your routine.
Questions before you buy
Does the jacket come with a storage bag? Yes. The product details say a portable storage bag is included.
How many pockets does it have? It has two side pockets, described as suitable for items such as a phone or keys.
Can it go in the washing machine or dryer? The care directions specify hand washing and hanging it to dry, they also say not to iron or bleach it.
Buying verdict
This UIQUR jacket makes sense for someone looking for a packable rain layer for travel or a range of outdoor activities, with an adjustable hood, elastic cuffs, and pockets. Its light construction is central to that use, but buyers differ on the thickness and sizing. Choose it for portability and rain coverage, not as a substitute for a warmer layer, check the size chart before selecting a size.
