## Description

The green Tree of Life mandala gives this stove top cover a decorative job as well as a protective one: it can shield a cool electric cooktop from everyday spills and scratches while adding color to the kitchen. Its natural rubber base is designed to grip the surface, and the mat can also serve as a dish-drying area when you need extra counter space.

You can roll it up or hang it out of the way when the stove is in use.

## Best use cases

This cover makes the most sense for an electric cooktop that has cooled completely and needs a little protection between cooking sessions. Picture clearing dinner, letting the surface cool, then laying the mat down to keep crumbs or splashes off the stovetop—or setting rinsed dishes on it while the counter is busy. It can also be used on a counter or washer top, or hung vertically with the included wall hooks. As a drying mat, it offers a more decorative alternative to leaving a plain dish towel spread across the counter.

You’ll appreciate it if you want one washable mat to cover a cooktop and take on occasional drying or surface-protection duty. It’s not for you if you need a cover that can stay on a hot or operating burner: the instructions say to wait five minutes after use and never place it on a hot or turned-on electric cooktop. It should also be kept away from open flames and oven heat sources.

## Product specs

The mat measures 28" x 20" and has a thin profile with a natural rubber base. Its printed design is a green bohemian Tree of Life mandala. The listing describes the surface as waterproof and stain resistant, with a non-slip backing, it can be wiped clean, rinsed for stubborn stains, or gently washed in a dishwasher. It is also described as absorbent and quick drying, so it can pull double duty as a dish mat.

The stated heat limits are different for the two sides: the top surface withstands hot dishes up to 248°F, while the base resists heat up to 120°F. Those figures do not make it safe to use on an active cooktop. Measure the area you want to cover against the mat’s dimensions, choosing by appearance without that measurement could leave part of the surface exposed or the mat extending beyond it.

## Where it shines

The main appeal is flexibility. A dedicated stovetop cover is useful only when the burners are off, while this one is also presented as a drying mat and a protector for other flat surfaces. That makes it easier to justify keeping within reach in a busy kitchen. The hanging hooks and rollable format help when you need to uncover the stove, the printed design also looks more like kitchen decor than a plain protective pad.

There are trade-offs. The 28" x 20" size may not suit every cooktop, and the product details don’t provide a fit guide or a specific shape for different burner layouts. Its heat ratings also require careful interpretation: hot dishes on the top surface are one use, but direct heat from a burner or oven is not. If an exact, fitted stove cover is your priority, measuring first matters more than choosing by pattern.

## Should you buy it?

This is a practical pick if your electric stove is often unused between meals and you want a patterned mat that can protect a cool surface, dry dishes, or be put away without much fuss. The non-slip rubber base, washable construction, and alternate uses give it more purpose than a purely decorative cover. Buy it if its dimensions suit the area you plan to cover and you’re comfortable removing it before cooking. Skip it if you need protection while the cooktop is hot, or if you can’t confirm that the size will fit your stove.
