TOY Life PS0106053 Magnetic Fishing Bath Toy Set, 7 Pieces with Wind-Up Swimmers

Some bath toys are mainly for watching, others invite little hands to reach, catch, and scoop. The TOY Life magnetic fishing set brings both kinds of play together with five wind-up sea animals, a fishing pole, and a net.

Use it in the bathtub, at the sink, or with a water table to make water play more interactive for toddlers ages 1–3.

Usage tips

Twist the tail on a swimmer to set it paddling through the water, then invite your toddler to catch or scoop it with the pole or net. The movement gives children something to follow, while reaching and lifting the animals turns bath time into hands-on play. It’s a practical fit for a child who enjoys both watching toys move and trying to collect them, rather than only playing with toys that float in place.

The set is designed for a bathtub, sink, or water table, indoors or outdoors. After play, rinse the pieces and let them air-dry. The product is described as having sealed bodies without a bottom hole. Buyer feedback is mixed: some buyers appreciate the set’s suitability for toddlers and magnetic play, while others report inconsistent functionality or water getting inside the toys. These are individual experiences, not a guarantee of how every set will perform.

What you get

The seven-piece set includes five wind-up swimmers—a duck, two crabs, and two whales—plus a fishing pole and a net. Having both catching tools gives toddlers more than one way to engage: they can try fishing for the moving animals or scoop them from the water. The pieces are animal-themed, and the manual wind-up action makes the swimmers part of the play without requiring a separate power source.

For a simple play routine, wind up one animal at a time and let your child follow its path before trying to catch it. Taking turns winding, watching, and scooping can also give a shared bath or water-table session a clear activity to focus on.

Practical questions

What age is this bath toy set for? It is listed for ages 1–3, with a manufacturer-recommended age range of 18 months to 3 years.

How do the sea animals move? Twist the tail on any of the five swimmers to wind it up. It then paddles through the water, ready to be caught with the pole or net.

Buying verdict

This set suits families looking to add movement and a simple catch-and-scoop activity to toddler water play. The combination of five wind-up animals, a fishing pole, and a net makes it especially useful for turning a bath or water-table session into an activity children can follow and take part in.
